I have met some not so great cops in edson/ edmonton/ camrose/ leduc... (holy crap) myself, but i don't crap on the towns because of it.

Not sure why you don't want to respect the fact that I have worked hard for years and I earned the cash to buy that rig myself. I usually judge/respect people based on thier words and actions not the truck they drive. But I'm only 21 what do I know.

P.S I've got no real problems with the sledders or town, I just don't like the cops. Not sure what you meant with the rest of your post.

A rig worker working hard? Pretty sure that is a oxymoron. You show up to work everyday and you get a frigging bonus on the rigs, pretty pathetic. I'm not going to get into the pissing match, but I can tell you right now I work harder then most rig workers, very few know what real work is anymore. I like how you try to throw it in my face that i'm 19. When the fact is I have more to show for working then most rig workers who buy the fancy toys only to loose them because they throw their money away worse then a 4 year old. Keep riding the wave, the bust will come eventully and almost all the rig workers will loose everything like they did in the 80's.....but they aren't dumb enough to have it happen again, or are they?

I "use" to work concrete/construction. A job weren't you can't go for your break when your tired, and don't get lunch breaks and work from sun up till the job is done. The job were most people can't keep up and don't last more then a day.

Considering the only jobs in Fort crack are mcdonalds, rigs, or a drug dealer, i'm going to assume you work on the rigs, or some trade that is probably the rigs or close to it, because there isn't much else for jobs up there

not for nothing, but do you really think the oil coming from fort mac is extricated by drilling? and that everyone involved in the process must work on drilling rigs? lol....

We have a covered light law here as well..20 yrs ago I had a cop pull me over for my covers off(and no the lights were not on)he threatened to take his night stick and break them out..Told him flat out that on the first swing my truck (big block on 1 ton axles and 44's) would be sitting on top of his cop car and I would be pressing charges for him destroying my personal property,,he got huffy and I demanded he get a sargent on scene...when the sargent showed up and he heard from both of us and witnesses I got a big apology and a free to go....I was 26-27 at the time and this particular cop just had a thing for big trucks...
