Now I hate both you AND your wife SH!!! Dern little girls!! ;) heheehehe...

Oh well, that's why the 860 is in the works!! There is only so much I can do with this frame o mine (not to mention my ability to jsut stop eating, non existant!)... but sled mods?!!? long as I keep my high payin job I can keep on moddin her out and keep up with those dern skinny minies!!! hahahahaha

Now your a funny one. I could actually gain a few pounds here and there. It would help in some of my sledding skills. I keep telling myself that I need some sort of strength training workout. Unfortunately nothing is happening. I'm just talking to myself on that whole topic.

I hear ya Phatty, reminds me of a ride when we were trying to climb out of a bowl. I made a couple runs to feel it out and pack a track. I told Jeanette to give me a head start and stay in my track. Next thing I know she's flying past me in the fresh:eek: like I was standing still. So light weight and more track speed does wonders.:D

I remember that ride up in Heber by Lone Tree area. Yeah, you were slow and in my way. I had to keep on it though. It was fun seeing the look on your face.:eek::eek: What thaaaaa heck is she doing???

my gf and i live in provo. i took her once last year and she is excited to ride more this year. i have my rev and i got her a zx summit 700 to ride. we are looking for more couples to go ride with. we are both newer to the state of utah and would love to find some people to ride with. I've been riding since i was 8 but she is obviously a beginner. anyone down here ever plan couples rides? or can anyone suggest some areas to ride that have good trails for her and places for me to play? thanks!

Vernon

They didn't say they lived together.

Hey Vernon, for taking a rookie rider your best bet would be the Heber/Strawberry area if you want to keep it fairly close to home. Any place that grooms is your best bet. That always works well because she can get off the trail and play wherever she comfortable. Also allows you to go pound a hill or carve up a meadow. Lots of different access areas. Hope this helps. My gut feeling is when it snows, just throw a post out on here and someone will hook up with ya.

Well I think it's the most unusual thing to not have any gals other than myself and C4F on this forum from Utah. Weird considering all the Northern gals I know of with lots of ideas and opinions on the sleddin sport. What is up with that? What is up with Utah? Is this seriously weird or am I over reacting? Can the guys help out a little here? Or are you all afraid of a little girl power? Sorry, don't want to pizz anyone off. I'm just wondering, why?

RMK756: see Marc you better get Stacie to get her butt on here and the Ladies Ride site. Chicks that can ride need to represent. :D

BTW: Knee ready/no snow. What the HE!!.

Snow is coming! Hopefully some more ladies to ride with too?? :) GP, please try to make it to the dinner on Wed? Julie, Robo (Pete's) wife will be there. She is a rider!

Pattern change forecast for end of the week. My guess is....game on by next weekend??? :D

GP.....Hopefully when the snow starts we will see a few more ladies join.

Like SS says, If you can swing it Wednesday, you should go. Julie, Robo's wife is an awesome gal.

GP and C4F;

I ride more frequently with my Tink (Pauline) then anyone else. She has a forum name but doesn't like the computer so I end up posting anything she has to say.

Tink likes boondocking, trail, and meadow riding so long as the trees and rocks are well covered. She's not into highmarking or climbing long pulls; just enough to get where we're going. Can't get her on lakes since she dropped her old sled through the ice at Mirror Lake and I had to swim for it in Feb of '07. She's on a XP 800X 146" this year upgrading from a Rev 600.

I've tried to interest her in the ladies ride but haven't had any luck yet. Perhaps we could hook up for a ride one Saturday in January to get her interested.

Keep us in mind for sure. I would love to meet your wife. We'll all have to plan a ride together.
