Updates to '12's. When?

I got the second letter like most of you did.....
"Updates need to be completed before November 15 to qualify for the 3rd year warranty"
Give me a frigging break!!
My dealer cannot even get the parts yet.
So that gives dealers less than 30 days to get these all complete. Way to go you geniouses!!

of 2013 i think.... Thats a year and a month...
No clutch parts in the 1100 turbo update kit.
This is what is in the kit:
Gear Position sensor
Sealant
Reverse shift rack
Black reverse shaft

Received letter today. Never did receive the first!? Gives me till Nov 30, 2012 to get updates done. Call dealer....no parts yet!

My letter states explicitly all updates need to be complete by Nov 30, 2012
None for the 2012- but the 2013's were shipped less a secondary and had bushing material that was not up to spec -
Other than that exactly what R Station said- but there is supposed to be a TCL bolt in ther..(supposed to be

Not sure when your dealer ordered them but we had a few show up in the last couple weeks and got the majority of them late last week.
Mine showed up last week- and is in and ready for a pickup and of course a check in hand for the new M1100T

looking at kit right now, there is reverse fix (hopefully) fuel elbow and bolt for TCL and the bolts for the interference up by the primary area. Not worth a pic. Do you need the $38.00 socket for the spanner nuts or can you guess at the torque specs. as long as your measurements are correct?
Picked my Dads up from the shop last weekend, all updates done. Unloaded it im my shop by just pushing it off the deck, then this week I put on Lindermans boost tubes for him and gave it a quick cleaning. Today I went to back it out of the shop to clean up and guess what, THE REVERSE DOESNT WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Same grinding noise we`ve all grown so accustomed to, my Dad is gonna lose his mind! This is absolute BS! Mechanical reverse isnt a new idea here, other manufacturers have been doing it for years. I have recomended Arctic Cat to friends and family for years, in fact thats why my Dads riding this 1100 and my Uncle moved to Cat from Polaris. This year I hopped the fence to Yamaha and felt uneasy about doing that, now with this and the belt blowing 800`s that my Uncle and other friends had to deal with last year with no real answers or fix from the dealer (that actually works anyways) I no longer feel to bad! I dont know if this was a case of bad luck with the reverse or not, but time will tell. In the meentime my heart goes out to those poor souls that have a 2012 Cat or were brave enough to try a 2013, good luck my friends!
