Twisted Turbos

I made an observation the other day while out riding. Turbos are friggn awesome. There was only 1 turbo on the mountain running well and it wasn't a Twisted. In fact on the way up the trail I passed a mechanics shop. I didnt realize twisted had mountain service shops all over the place. If that is the kind of service you get with a Twisted set up sign me up!

Really, and where was you riding?? If the mountain service is what I am thinking, the guy forgot to tighten the driven and his quick adjust screwed in, keeping the driven from closing. This has nothing to do with running a turbo.

Was it off the side of the trail at Snake Creek? If so that was Shain, Lyle and myslelf. First trip out on a completely rebuilt sled from the ground up (new bulkhead and suspension), anyways had a small oil leak that we had to address there, fixed it and ran flawless the rest of the day. Goes to show how servicable these kits are with minimal tools.

radski this is what the shootout is for, people like you. Come on down and see what fast is. Maybe its you, maybe the guys you have been racing are really just slow. One thing for sure, by the time sat is over you will know.
On a side note. If you beat an Apex on 22lbs with an m7 then rest assured the Apex was ill tuned.

I am excited...but I must say that my m7 is way fast. I look forward to the challenge. I will see you all there.

Kind of what I was thinking. the apex or other sleds mentioned probably weren't performing if your tm7 was smoking them. nothing against the tm7, but I remember little orange cat with a tm1200 that was hanging with and beating lots of other turbo's. shanes twisted m1000 should be in there as well. tm7, having a hard time with that one. not bashing, like I said. I would love to see some vid of this sled.

sorry my sled is no longer a 1000 its a 1200 both of them and they are going to be in canada friday.

please make sure you post your wins on video for proof(not doubting your 7 isn't fast) just that a t-apex at 24 lbs is making some serious hp and unless his clutching is WAY off or he has little compression left on the motor :face-icon-small-but it would surprise many to see you beat this sled...Hope it goes well with everyone there and ride safe(cept maybe the uphill drags)

Sounds good...again it isn't a big deal if I loose. I am going to the shoot out to SEE HOW MY SLED DOES against the supposed Fast Twisted M8 and supposed OVS M8's. I am anxious to run some fast apex's and nitros at the shoot out. I will make sure to post video's. I am more anxious to see all the cool sleds and ideas that are out there. I am starting on a new project and I am really going to the shoot out to see what new ideas I can implement in the new sled I am building.
