TRS boost power valve

Looking at the intake valve at the top of the airbox during boondocker breathe right install today, it's just a smaller and less robust version of the TRS power boost valve.

Stoked to try this thing out. Install was simple, just requires basic disassembly. The force turbos tool is really convenient for removing the lock nut on top of the fuel tank... well worth $25.

Better than old channel locks and scuffed plastic?

You’ll dig it. Rode mine yesterday (trs valve + breath right + trs clutch alignment). Sled is a beast, can’t wait for more snow
 
any insight on the y pipe springs? Just saw Toby's story. Are the OEM springs not creating a good seal?
Yah that's a new sticker, didn't have that on mine.

Maybe it's only for the RMSHA pros lol?

Just put TRS valve on 22 boost and yes there something to the springs for sure as there is oil residue at the y pipe connection after first ride out. That being said that valve is the answer as I haven’t had this thing run this good ever. Spools way quicker and doesn’t fall flat on its face when letting off at the bottom end. Probably has something to do with tossing the P22 off and a TRS clutch kit in a P85 as well! Tough to tell what the real fix was. But I’ll go with both at this point.
 
We have found once you add the valve, the single springs on the ypipe do not maintain a very good ypipe to pipe seal.
We have added the “double up” recommendation to each screen.
Only an issue on the Ypipe to pipe side, or would it also be beneficial to do from pipe to turbo as well?

Yes it’s both I ran P-85 clutching on my boost last year and it was a noticeable improvement this year I installed the valve an WOW now it’s a beast!!!!
 
You can do both if you like. The y pipe is a necessity.

Well then, I will get some springs on order. Have the valve and a number of other parts ready to install.
That says something is working though, if putting the valve in affects that connection point.
 
Speaking of ordering Polaris parts... what's everyone's preferred Polaris online vendor (with all schematics) that doesn't take days to get your package out the door?
 
agreed, I have had good luck with partzilla and fixmytoys.
I also get good prices at my local Polaris dealer, so I try to throw money their way if I don't need it right away.
