Allan key for clutch weight pin with matching wrench. That being said I don't have the pry bar or spacer needed to change weights like I should have.

Allan key with matching wrench for adjusting secondary.

A stubby Phillips for tightening go pro mounts.

1/2" / 5/8" ratcheting wrench for bar riser.

I have duct tape but I should probably replace it with black gorilla tape.

Some tie wraps. A knife and some electrical tape.

I also have a rated strap, forget how much its for but its thin and light but super strong from a potash mine that got thru the gates haha

What's all that weigh. Gee I thought I packed a lot of stuff. I bet your riding buddies appreciate it though when they need to borrow a tool.

It's that time of year to look back through the pack. One thing that I haven't seen mentioned is hose clamps. The regular worm drive style. Million uses, but most commonly I have a buddy who manages to break his handlebars in two every trip out west. Four hose clamps and a wrench and you have a splint for the bars that allows him to ride the sled out.

Just fitting out the pros's ...
Always carry a long handle axe + shovel + rope on all trips short or long.

For long trips, we add a bunch of stuff ...
small socket set and basic wrenches (found a great compact socket set at Cdn Tire last year)
fire starter (cans of sterno used to heat buff wishes - alcohol jelly),
waterproof matches,
couple of smoke flares (can also be used as emergency fire starter),
first aid kit,
utility knife,
extra fuel,
plus a few other items ...

added a reinforced crazy carpet this season in case of need to haul / tow sled ... found a neat way to stow it ... I removed the spare belt holder clip and rolled up the crazy carpet, slipped the belt inside and lodged both in the same spot as the belt clip .... tension on the roll keeps it from sliding and the belt keeps outward tension on the roll while the side / hood panels keep everything pressed in!

Maybe I have missed it, but it seems there is a market for someone to design a multi tool specifically for snowmobiling. They make them for mountain biking. obviously a lot less tools needed for a mountain bike but I think a large mulit tool with some of the basic essentials all built into one unit would be worth its weight and cost. Im sure you couldnt fit all pieces needed on it but you could cover the basics. Anyone know of anything?
