red dot this you weenie!!!. your boy can't keep his word and he is not even hired yet! in my eyes our country failed us by electing him just to try something new......completely blind. just wait till the day Obama says anything against drilling, exploration.....anything oil related, watch what happens. you go boy ride your pretty pony, while your new guy puts bandaids on bulletholes.

for those confused, I got slammed with the reds for my avtar. I like it and it stays.

I like it! Heres some green for ya!:beer;

I am and was for going to Afghanistan to get the terrorists since day 1.
I was against going back into Iraq since Bush announced the Shock and Awe plan. It still makes no sense to me.

As far as Saddam Killing his own people I ask, “If that is justification then why aren’t we in Sudan, Chad, Uganda, or The Congo?”
These counties have suffered mass ethnic, racial and religious genocide over the last 15 years. Each killing more of their citizens than Saddam Hussein did in his entire dictatorship of Iraq.

As for Afghanistan, I agree, we should have sent everything we had in there and killed anything that got between us and Osama. And, Iraq should have been put on the back burner until that was settled. If Iraq becomes a Republic, it will have an enormous effect on the region. If not, the whole thing may decent into broken states.

Africa is a nut that no western country has been able to crack. Remember Rwanda, and the UN? Remember UN in Somalia? Clinton does, and we got ran out, mostly due to lack of support for the war. How about the UN mission in Chad and the Central African Republic? What about the UN in Congo, Burundi, Sierra Leone, Angola, Mozambic, Namibia, Liberia, Eritrea, and Ethiopia. Where have you been for the last 50 years? The American public has no more stomach for Africa. Plus, they've put together a League of African countries, and have been trying to solve their problems themselves. Don't think we don't provide training and transportation.

I'm going to be nice and assume you really don't know. It is in our national interest and your's too that we maintain stability and a presence in the mideast based on our oil consumption. Blood for oil? Damn skippy and if you don't understand, agree, or believe we should not protect that interest, then sell your car and your sled and hoof it. I stand by my assertion that 90% of the voting public are not qualified to even participate.

Duke, I understand the stability of the region is important. If the USA would have stayed out of Iraq I don't think the stability would be any worse off than it is now.

Spring Snow Hero, I forgot in my original post I like your avatar, a fine example of political satire.

I think back to what Bob Dole said when asked if he hoped Bill Clinton would fail as president shortly after Clinton's election. "When the president does poorly, America does poorly. I want him to succeed, just not so much that he gets reelected.”

Well, I respect your opinion but thinks it an uninformed one based on a lack of understanding of the geopolitical nature of the region. We are now in a much better position now to protect our interests in the region. It was an expensive proposition but one that will prove to have been a worthwhile investment in the long run. If 1939 Germany would have never tried to expand it's borders, would have been a worthwhile investment to remove it's leadership?

I have found out that all the Obama lovers can't take any criticism. But they love to bash Bush! Here is some green for Ya. Keep the aviator!

Bingo!!!

"I'll keep my freedom, my guns, and my money; you can keep 'THE CHANGE'.":beer;:beer;:beer;:beer;

My opinion: I did not vote for obama but he is going to have a lot of pull within the next few years if he pulls a birth certificate outta his azz.....that being said he has the perfect oppurtunity to make our country better and like it or not I will stand behind my commander in chief.

Again with that being said he still has to prove to america that he is the right man for that job...no more TALK about 'change' and 'hope', it is time for him to 'act'

as we alll have seen in the past month he has brought back many people from the clinton era to be part of his 'team' that he relies so much on. Whether this is a good or bad thing, no one knows.

That is no Shheeeeeeeet!!!!!

I am with you. I am an american, he will be my president. I only wnat the best for you, me and my country. anything else would be stupid. I do feel that many of his campaign promises are already falling apart.
It sort of has that feeling of the first time you take your car in for warranty work and get a bill. "sorry, that is not covered......."
"sorry, I could not make it work with out rasing taxes"
"sorry, I thought they were just a small country of little threat"
"well you should not have those guns anyway"
I have a feeling we will be hearing alot of this real soon.....not what I want and I hope I am wrong, but that is how I feel.

I would love for somone to step up and defend him. I saw what happened to joe the plumber. he asked a question, embarrased the messiah, and they ruined his life.........yet shawn hannity rips through the messiah daily making accusations that I feel must be true......remember, the messiah is a master of law, he is not gonna sit back and be slandered........UNLESS ITS TRUE! that is the scary part. throw in what is going on in the illinois gov seat.....yikes.

I don't think many folks out there dissagree that bush is in bed with big oil, clinton was in bed with monica and obama with a former terrorist........at least with bush I could buy oil stocks and earn some money. obama makes it tough, have a buddy like bill aires then disarm the country.......I don't think so.

Amen Bro! I'm going to hurry and ride now! I have a feeling once he's in office, he might decide that the snow and cold is too dangerous for everybody on the planet. With Mr. O. and his two pals Nancy and Harry, who's to stop them from removing all snow and cold from this planet???
But then again, think about all the jobs that would create, and the boost to the global economy:rolleyes:
to try to stop a rerd dot on my forehead... I'm just kidding:D Reps to you S.S.H!

I like your avatar too. That is exactly the way I feel about all this. Obama calls himself a pragmatist but until he comes up with a proper birth certificate that shows that he meets all the requirements of the constitution I won't be able to swallow hard enough to call him MY president. It's a simple thing , why won't he do it? If he doesn't he might as well take that piece of paper out from under that glass and do what ever with it. I do hope and pray the country survives.
