Holly ****!!!! Thunder Mountain Lodge Is Gone!!!!!!!!! It burnt to the ground last night! I hope everyone is ok!

If not, lets not get carried away. Michelle is on her way up the mountain, has been told there was a fire. Michelle has been told no one hurt, but she doesn't know the extent of damage and hasn't got to talk to Mark yet. Let's hope its a no injury and its survivable damage.

Ive talked to several sorces including alexander lodge and they said there is nothing left but rubble! the webcam is also down! Mark stays in a different building then the lodge so I would imagine he is fine!

This image is floating around facebook... pretty sad, I was there a little under a month ago and already was thinking about going back next year... I hope there is a next!

Rode the mesa yesterday. Snow was pretty darn good considering it's mid April. You just had to be in the right spots. Hopefully this new storm will bring even more. I just know that after yesterday, I am not putting away the sled yet!

Just moved a foot of fresh out of the parking lot. Started out wet last night, but the top 8-10" is perfect Colorado Champagne Powder. Should be twice that amount east of here. Great for an end of the year ride.
