THUNDER MOUNTAIN LODGE SNOW REPORT IV

Just left there this morning, lots of snow!

I just don't like riding in mashed potatoes!
4 days of 40's!

Should be getting plenty of snow in the next week. Spring riding is hopefully over starting tomorrow. Storms are coming in.

I wish I had better news, but it has been 11 days since last snow with high temps. Snow is quite set up. There is still areas in the trees and north facing slopes that has deep snow, but no new powder. Sucks, looks like an early spring. The Mesa is huge and there is always places to ride but the whole west in the same boat. Two years in a row of this is unheard of!!!!!!!!!!

Fri/Sat are my last days

It's about time to pack it in unless we get a mega storm in April. This weekend should be the best possibility for a couple feet. Hopefully it snows like its forecasted to.

Cheers to POWDER and the last few days riding...

Lots of good riding left this year, no need to even think about packing it in yet. Been a bit of a dry spell but there is still plenty of time for riding. End of March and April usually drops quite a bit of snow on the Mesa. I am not there right now but will have a snow report later today. It looks like the Mesa got about 10" or so yesterday.
