This incredible machine does it again!

However, anyone who is a real rider, dirtbike, moto, snowmachine ect. knows what you are selling is not as good as advertised.

I gotta say dude, you must not know much about bikes at all. I have raced MX most of my life and I totally see the advantages and potential this kit has to offer! This is not the only kit out there, but in my eyes the best one. I cant wait to get setup!

I was very hesitant when I saw the first track kits that came out and spoke out about how I didnt think for one sec, that the clutches would hold up at all. man was I proven worng with these kinds of setups.

I really don't want to turn this into a pissing match but You are making me crack up!! I'll get to the point. Go sell this on Thumper Talk an leave us alone.:rolleyes::D:rolleyes::D Check back in 5 years and tell us how many you have sold. When you get bought out by one of the big 4 dirt bike makers I'll eat crow!! Until then I stand by my comments. Best of luck.:beer;

I'm very interested in these kits... To all of you skeptics there is one thing I can guarantee you...Get on your sled and TRY to follow one of these through the trees!!! The explorer kit is going to open up a lot of areas that snowmobiles can't even get to and I don't think anybody short of Chris Burandt can argue this. If you are skeptical, thats ok but some of you guys are bashing this product too much...if you don't like it and will never buy one, Great...move the **** on:mad:...l for one think this is a genius invention that will go far!!

In deep under the tree snow? Up the steeps in the trees?? ????? OK

...Get on your sled and TRY to follow one of these through the trees!!

In anything other than spring hero snow in trees too tight to walk through, a sled will eat these for lunch. No offense dude, I think it is a cool idea, but it seems that people marketing these types of products, think that this will make sleds obsolete.

When I see one win the Big Iron and Big Dawg shootouts and they can follow me through 4 feet of powder in any trees, I will replace my sled. Until then.....

I personally will never try to REPLACE my sled with one of these units, and I don't think they are being designed to make sleds obsolete...I see a great market in these to help get dirt-bikers out on the snow. Many people simply can't afford to own both, so this gives some of my dirt-bike riding buddies a way to get out in the winter with us on sleds. No offense taken, Like I said, I won't be selling the ol "M" anytime soon but hopefully products like these will help more people embrace the winter ride.
Cheers,
Bryan

Typical, snowest bashing. If you guy's have no intention of buying one, why are you on here ripping this machine. You guys apparently have nothing better to do, than run your mouth.... I call it snowest bashing, someone will have a neat product, and the naysayers have to get on here and ***** about how it must be a piece of sh#t..........

Amen, Brother
Its hard to get a positive or informative answer or comment on this site anymore. Seems if people aren't arguing or bashing something, they have nothing to add. I'm glad I don't have to live my life constantly belly-aching about anything and everything. Its pretty bad when people bash on stuff they aren't even interested in. They seem to be looking for ways to be negative...NICE LIFE!!!

On a positive, more productive note, I recently heard from Mike and it sounds like the explorer was a blast to ride in the sand. He's been doing sand testing for the past few days and it sounds like its getting around on the sand very well.
Thanks
Bryan

What a joke!

You guys bashing what you dont have a clue about.
No its not going to replace your beloved sled, and no its not going to highmark an m1000.
Real riders??? Ill run circles around you any... day anywhere..On dirt sand rocks or roots.
Im stoked with the 1skis, so much FUN with alot less work..and They will turn circles around a sled. I got my 2moto mid season, I have found a few shortcomings, but I love it! My buddies cant keep up when we are off the trail, most of the time they just stop and watch. and they are all now looking to buy conversions. And all are long time snowmobilers.
No they are not going to sell there sleds, but they like the idea of being able to go places there sleds wont. with far less hassle.
I dont need to try to sell you on anything, perhaps youll see us on the hill sometime. Your welcome to try my underpowered, slow and heavy piece of crap out.
If you have a 1track mind thats fine, but bashing just to be an *** with no or little first hand knowledge is just wrong. But I guess everyone is due there opinion.

this is a public forum, what do you want? everyone to be creaming their pants over how well this kit works, and gushing how much in love with it they are? if he wants to advertise this all over public forums, then some debate about the product is bound to happen, some more mature than others, but they are still bringing up valid points about the negatives of the kit, I am sure he is a big boy and can take some critisism, it may actually work in his favour.

We have people in here who are pointing out the pros

We have people in here who are pointing out the cons, and potential problems with it

Then we have people complaining about the people who are saying anything negative.

Who are the real whiners?

Have no problem with bringing or introducing a new product on this site that actually has something to do with snowmobiling. Why do we not see paid advertisements though, instead of thread after thread of how great and how incredible and how amazing and how blah blah blah........ should I go on?

It gets a little old..... thats all. this is a forum for snowmobiling, so you can expect to get a little flack if all your trying to do is post as many threads as possible to avoid paying for advertising.

Im a real winner!!!

Hey bigT......... We know!:D

Like has been said, each is entitled to their opinions... Some positive, some negative.
And to who posted "Ill run circles around you any" PROVE IT!
Sounds like someone is pretty fast hiding behind a keyboard.

Back on topic: I was very interested in purchasing a kit... Otherwise I wouldn't have called and made arrangements to meet up.
I also wouldn't have waited around for more than an hour and a half if I was not interested. The snow was still good, and we were burning daylight BSing.
Very unorganized... The main point of interest with the "demo ride" IMO was to film an infomercial.

These kits are very cool, and seem to be cost effective... They just didn't perform at a level that would make me consider buying one. This doesn't mean that others won't be impressed.

1 more note... You can still overheat with one of theses kits! MX bikes do not have fans (at least hondas)... I'm not saying it will be a problem, but I have seen bikes overheat in the sand... With more load and low ground speed, don't fool yourself thinking it can't happen.

Long term reliability will be key... I have a feeling clutches will be a big wear item with one of these kits.

Thanks again for the oprotunity to ride one of your kits mike, and sorry if my honest review of my experience did not go over well on this forum.

Good luck to you and ADBoivin.

The hawks I saw go were VERY IMPRESSIVE!

well you got me there.

Yah no drought I get excited, maybe sometimes to much..
But hey Im not hiding behind a keyboard.. My post has my biz name all over it!
And I am willing to backup my words anytime. Or at least try. I very easily could be proved wrong.. hey for all I know the real rider posting is R.C. and I certainly aint no R.C.
My point is simply to have an open mind.. If you dont thats cool its your loss...

The thing might be really good, but realistically, how many people would really buy one. I mean, how big could the market for them really be. Any sales projections?

The same people that buy wheels for their snowmobile??? JK.....looks like a pretty cool settup, lots of work and time into that, best of luck!! :beer;

To answer the question "who would actually buy one of these"...Why don't you ask Brad Story? He has his own design and I've heard rumors that these might show up on some snowmobile vids comming out this fall. Don't take that to the bank though, just a rumor I heard on this site so we'll just have to wait and see...:D

I have an open mind and in no way was I close minded when trying out this kit.
I think 877snowhawk thought I was bashing and I apologize if I came off that way. IMO I gave an honest review.

Whether it be a new bike, sled, quad, etc. I don't let my first ride make the decision for me... I weigh the pros and cons, and decide if it is something that I would enjoy using and setting up to my liking.
I have no doubt that with some time and experimentation I could set up the kit to suit my needs better as far as handling, weight transfer, ski pressure etc. Which without a doubt would differ rider to rider. Not to mention conditions.
Maybe I expected too much? IDK... What I do know is that I would not be happy with a stock 450's power using this kit. Husaberg? Maybe a different story... But the idea of this kit (in my eyes) is to get more use out of the bike you currenty own.
If I sold my 450 for a husaberg I don't think I would be happy on the track or at the dunes in the summer months.

Has there been any efficiency testing done? Compared to other kits?
As I asked before, It would be nice to know how much power is lost with this kit.
I can't help but think that driving the track from the actual paddles (top of track) rather than inside the track like a conventional sled is a huge power robber, but then again, I have not tried a 2moto or different kit to see if 1 is more efficient than another. Not to mention, this kit is less expensive and a more simple kit/install... Everything is a trade off.

I too am guilty of getting a little excited. LOL
