i didnt see anything in that video that a dirtike with two wheels couldn't do? i'd like to see one in 6 feet of powder with no base... how are you supposed to stop in serious snow or tip the thing back up if you high side it or something? not my thing... could be a lot of fun but i'll keep the sled for the snow, and the bike for the dirt.

I would be weary of taking Mike at his word, people. You can see the details here but long story short, Mike offered to pay for the block I had machined to repair a design flaw (read the full story on that here), a total of $105. It's been over three months now and even with numerous email and phone reminders, I STILL have not gotten any sort of reimbursement.

Even crying on the general forum

Unbelievable, you even went on the general forum to cry your eyes out. Get over it dude. Your wasting peoples time on here as well as your own. Drive up to Quebec and take it up with Denny. I don't understand why you blame all your problem on Mike. He is just trying to make a new sno product go and you are taking the fun out of it for everyone. I don't know him that well but I know he was real cool to hundreds of people this year. He literally let hundreds of guys trash brand new bikes all day in the mtns for no cost. Everyone had a blast and you are one guy out of thousand that has nothing good to say about Mike.

That's all good. Just don't spend money and expect it to get reimbursed. I gave up on AD Boivin first, this made me give up on Mike too. I may be one in a thousand, but I don't want there to be a second person in that thousand that has to go through the crap I've gone though. ;) I like Mike, he's a cool guy, that's why I waited three months in hopes he would follow through, I just have zero trust in the man now.

Once again...you're killing me. Based on the fact that Mike offered to buy the entire kit back I would say AD Boivin and Mike gave up on YOU! Clearly there isn't anything that could make you happy unless you designed your own kit.

Keep working on that design to pull your head out of your @$$ and hopefully...nothing will break off!

FYI.- in case I'm not making myself clear enough... you're a moron.

its a new toy

Sorry you don't like my comments. It's just not practical for me. And frankly it as many draw backs, some have been mentioned.I have dirt bike. I have a snowmobile. like a guy said, If you have a dirt bike and it cost 3K to convert wtf is the point. For 3 grand you can go buy a decent and fun snowmachine.
It is going to put much more stress on your dirt bike motor, which you will have to fix sooner than usual. 38 pound is real weight. I see people on here spend big $$$ to shed 25lbs of a sled. It robs mass power to move the track and all the other moving parts and so on. Sorry but there are too many down sides to a neat idea/product. I'm sure it's fun and many people probably love it.
It's just not for me.

dud! u have to have some fun, :D:D:beer;
"life is short why not ride it all"

Sure, sell it back and then spend a couple hundred MORE dollars to ship it back to him and then I have nothing to show for it. Harp on me all you want, it doesn't really bother me. If my ranting prevents just one person from going through the crap I have, it was worth it. :)

At least you were persistant.

You squeeked and squeeked till you got the grease you wanted, I'll give you credit for that!

The flaw you and a few other AD Boivin Explorer customers created needs to be addressed, a much stronger two leg ski mount should be created, tested, and putt into production. Current customers and dealers should recieve it asap.:confused:

2Moto has replaced a few of their failures with updated units.:beer;

The root problem I am afraid though, customer service, prostitute mentallaty, and just plain arrogance remains AD Boivin! This can never be fixed by the distributor, dealer, or the customer.:)
