this is a list from our note book over the last 8 years of weighing sleds....its funny it took 9 years for a manufacturer to beat the weight of the CMX
PS: got permission from DARKO to post this.

Hers is the weight of the nytro turbo............................irrelevant:D

Yeah well maybe your just too much of a p*ss! like the rest of us light weight sled riders. I heard of this legend about a guy who had this almighty 9420 turbo tampax ( no offense to the cool guys who ride Turbo Apex's and don't say stupid chit on this 4m) but his sled was so badazz that there wasn't a lightweight sled out there and wouldn't be for atleast 4-5 yrs that his 2000lb tampax couldn't destroy. Boy do I feel like a p*ss! too. I wonder if you have to pass a stud test to be able buy one of those futuristic sleds.

What a dumbazz

Yes you do but you are now 1 step closer to realizing your real dream.:face-icon-small-win..Power WITHOUT compromise:confused:( for you other people...making it home EVERY time)..Rode with a GREAT rider Cliff:eek: riding for 45 years and after his 3rd engine failure this season:mad: he is going or should I say coming over to the darkside.....All this after riding a t-Nytro set@ 15 lbs boost(the 18 scared him to much)...If you haven't done it YOU haven't lived:clock:

uhh... some people may or do take offense to that.

Most everyone who participates in Special Olympics is not retarded. I volunteer my time (when i can) to help out in Special Olympics, and most of those kids/adults are pretty smart and do catch on pretty quickly once shown the right way. Yes, it takes time but, they do get it and are smarter than some folks on here...or they at least try and act more like adults then some people. Do you even know what the Special Olympics are for? I have a friend who participates in the Special Olympics and he is NO where near retarded! Yes, even if they do win they are excited, Even if they loose they are still happy, Yes, nothing will or can change they way of how there mind works, or how they function, or how whatever. THEY are pretty much the nicest people you will ever meet. oh yeah, and yes, i take offense to that picture.

have a nice day.

You dont know me well. Im not whining. I was simply making a statement, If i take offense to something, i will let people know in a calm manner like i did. I was actually sticking for those people. Its not funny to me at all and that is the most rudest/discriminating pic i have ever came across here on SnoWest, period.

Gotta be careful assuming old guys can't ride.
I was back in the mountains and was watching a rev go basically anywhere any other sled could go that day, nice carving good riding good jumps. Guy was by himself so stopped to say hi. He was 63 man I hope I can ride like that when I'm 63. It was Turbo Tims Dad rode with him for a couple of hours nice guy.

Don't assume just cause there older than you they can't ride.

was that the Day me you and the Xfire dude was with him. That dude can Ride. very Impressive. id like to see him on a turbo rev. that would be a riot.

I'll have to admit, when I first saw that picture several years ago on the 'net, I had a chuckle. Definitely not the most respectful thing to do but sometimes we all let something slip, kind of like watching someone trip and go a$$ over tea kettle.

Now to the point I'm trying to make, someone using the "Special Olympics" as a comparison for how ridiculous they "think" the topic of a particular thread has become, I think is a huge understatement.

I'd have to say that some of the crap I've seen posted on this forum by certain people ranks them at level far below any challenged person I've ever known.

I have a picture of my Aunt, she is wearing a special olympics T-shirt with about 4 medals hanging around her neck. She is grinning ear to ear and is obviously very, very happy.

Add me to the list of offended people.

(and don't ask me to post the pic either  )

PS, I've seen that pic and other like it in many different 4ms, yet this is the only one in which I expressed my displeasure.
I consider SW 4m a bit more "grown up" for some reason?

am I wrong?

wow. you guys need help if a Picture affends you on the Internet. Hit the back Button.

thats not the point. some people that post stupid things like that need help.

Granted, it is the internet. Not everything on here you will agree with, yes, there will be some stuff on here that will offend others. but, jokes can go to far and when something like this is posted..Yes, i will voice my opinion and make a stand.

I would also like more, and more people to understand that the Special Olympics is not just for retarded folks. Many, many people who participate are not retarded and live an everyday life like what you and me live. Yeah, they're different but yeah so is everybody else on this planet.

Weenies.

Offensive or not, I don't care.

I stand by the message being implied.

TA, you should also include in your "evolution" how much fuel each of those sleds holds. I would think that would make a lot of difference.

Everyone needs to get over the dry weight thing. They don't run dry. Wet is how we ride them. A smaller tank and you might have to pack more fuel but that doesn't really matter because I pack fuel on all my sleds. Until they come out with a 15 gallon tank I have to pack gas.
Years ago when they first come out with the king cats and revs, arctic cat was whining because the king cat weighed 5 lbs more than the rev with a couple gallon bigger tank. Dry weight is going to be lighter but your not going to ride it that way.
