this is a list from our note book over the last 8 years of weighing sleds....its funny it took 9 years for a manufacturer to beat the weight of the CMX
PS: got permission from DARKO to post this.

anybody weighed the 09's yet ?????????????????????????????????????

And in every model year the Doo's have the smaller gas tank by almost 2g less than Poo's. Always have to give them extra gas.

I agree. If you weight them full of gas you are penalizing the sleds with bigger fuel tanks. Then the guy bragging about how light his sled is will have an extra gas can on the back bungeed on. I would brather leave a few gallons out but have the bigger tank. But I do like to see the weights.

1.6 gal. difference between the doo and poo which ends up at about 10 to 11 #.. if you penalize doo by 11# that comes to 532# for the 154 X who's close????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????---was just wondering if anyone weighed any 09 sleds:confused:

here's the weight of a 09 M8 153"... http://www.snowest.com/forum/showthread.php?t=85079&highlight=M8+weight

from the post:
"Well i finally got around to weighing my sled this weekend. Sled has all fluids in it, full tank of oil, and 2 gallons of gas. Bone stock on the scales. Took pics but they are to big to load on here. Scales under the track were placed under the center shock, and the rear scale was under the axle. Scales are $1200 Intercomp scales, they dont lie."

Left Front: 166lbs
Right Front: 149lbs
Center shock: 25lbs
Rear end: 155lbs

Total: 495lbs

I agree with you that the Ski Doo is lighter but I want a bigger tank on my sleds. It will give me more options on long rides. If we keep this up with the weight war that is going on right now we will have only 5 gallon fuel tanks when the dust settles. Weight the sled with equal amounts of fuel. If I wanted a smaller tank I won’t fill it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't want dry weights ether. weigh them with all fliuds and equal amounts of gas for the real chassis weights

LMFAO, some rep for you 383!

I believe the Snopro has the electronic reverse only. Right?? And Float shocks? Boss seat?
Wouldn't that be another 15-20#s off?
All sleds should be weighed with the same amount of fluids! Most riders never burn a whole tank anyways. There at the cabin talking about what they should be doing. Riding!!:beer;
