THE Evolution OF Sled Weights-

Thread Rating
5.00 star(s)
617 for the M1000 is heavy!

Although 900 RMK made it look good!

My 08 M-1000 162 S/P came in at 597# all topped off. Down to 570# with a few mods. I used race car digital scales on three points, so this should be real close. There was a substantial weight loss from 07. And If 09 numbers are even close to their claim of an additional 20+ pounds removed, well that makes this a rather light 1000cc machine. :face-icon-small-coo[/QUOTE]
Anyhow..the M1000 is a better handling sled than the XP in the deep sno.

has anyone got to weigh an 09 800 dragon full of gas and oil yet??

163 574lbs ready to ride. Bone Stock. NOTHING removed.

Also, I need to add that my 08 154X XP was 529lbs on the same scale. STOCK. 519 with a can. T/A did you get those weights with stock can or aftermarket?

hey t/a how about some 2010 weights, curious to see if the new M8 lost anything, think the new can is gonna eat up any weight loss they got from the new engine and seat...

nobody from our group bought new sleds yet so if anyone in the area want to know they will have to contact me and we can scale there sleds:D:D

Yeah, cause everyone really wants to live thru owning a 08 Skud again. LOL.
Doo should have spent a bit of time figuring out how to get some of their HP to the snow instead of making bendy tippy bandaids to TRY and compete in mountain segment, if they put the skis any friggen closer together they might as well go one big wide ski, and if they move th rider any far ther forward the gauges will be behind you. I'd be embarrassed if I had 15 more HP and maybe sometimes beating the Poo, in 14 kinda looks like the XM may end up bottom of the mountain performance pile.
Sort of a shame, such a great motor in such a crappy transmission system.
