Pretty tight chute for 2 at a time. Glad all were ok that could of gone bad in so many ways.

well.... when i came around the rocks behind mark i went low and wasnt sure what was on the other side of him so i turned out..it happend so fast and ther was not much i could do..

-#1 ride it out with not having no line and not knowing if ther are rocks near the landing

- #2 bail and hope i can stop b4 the cliff that i know was there somewhere!

and do that all in about 3 sec..


so you all see the desison that i made and for about a week i couldnt stop thinking about what a puss i was for not riding it out.. but if you watch the vid the track hits the last rock and thats what helped the sled flip in the air.. that could have shot me a far ways if i was on it..

A blip of the throttle would have cleared that little rock.....whats a 100 foot drop among friends...LOL!!

YOU did the right thing...sleds can be fixed...and ridden another day...NICE pull-BJ

Definitely the right decision considering you didn't know what was below you. You'd be posting from your hospital bed if you tried riding that one out.

Holy Fawk!! You definitely made the right decision by bailing man. Riding down a line your not sure of on hill like that would be suicide. Glad your ok.

figured with your PM today you were alluding to someone else "poaching" a shot you had spent the whole winter planning....after reading your post I'm disappointed you didn't just come out in the PM and make the same statement you made to the world on this thread.

For the record:
Climbmax told me I should shoot the guys from Alpine, stating they were pretty aggressive riders, while we discussed his next shot. It happened to be the ONLY shot I filmed of them. Two weeks later, he asked me to post the video. If you were so concerned about it -- and you knew I was filming -- you should have taken the opportunity to explain the importance of the wreck. I had no idea of who you even were, until I introduced myself to you that day, and you mentioned nothing about specifically filming anyone. A matter of fact, you were filming Climbmax in the set ups we had planned and were shooting. You even offered me your footage -- offering me a different angle. We even discussed the fact that you were shooting the same HD camera as Thunderstruck.

If you have a beef with another filmmaker....contact them in a professional way. don't air your pissed off feelings in a public forum. and if you think my footage is sh*tty...well, I can't wait to see your film...let's swap.

now that's drink a few more beers
