Straypu$$y strays off the cliff - the whole video!

that vid does a good job of showing how glass smooth those chutes are, pretty easy to point and click:rolleyes: that musta sucked much bad. good to know you got off with just a pride rash.

did your buddy loan you his belt so you could "chain up" your arse for the hiney slide down that bad boy:eek:

is the sled gonna save?

Mountain rider wanna be here from Michigan. Some of the stuff I see on this site blows me away. Would someone mind telling me just how the hell you guys get those sleds back down from those straight up chute runs in one piece? Do you go back the way you went up or look for a more controlled descent.

I wonder what stray was thinking or saying when he was standing there watching his sled disappear

WOW.. that would suck. I can see/feel the sadness in his body movements.. What could he had done?

the only thing I could think of would be with electronic reverse he might have dug it in in reverse..or a hard carve to the left and try to hit where they came up..but looks like there wasnt time for either due to the rocks and steepness...

he was lookin down at the group of guys sittin at the bottom seein weather or not he should ride it out or bail. then he came and helpd me get unstuck, we didnt know the sled had gone off a cliff lol. from where we were it looked like it just slid down the hill and kept going straight.

well.... when i came around the rocks behind mark i went low and wasnt sure what was on the other side of him so i turned out..it happend so fast and ther was not much i could do..

-#1 ride it out with not having no line and not knowing if ther are rocks near the landing

- #2 bail and hope i can stop b4 the cliff that i know was there somewhere!

and do that all in about 3 sec..

so you all see the desison that i made and for about a week i couldnt stop thinking about what a puss i was for not riding it out.. but if you watch the vid the track hits the last rock and thats what helped the sled flip in the air.. that could have shot me a far ways if i was on it..

spud is you were talking about rene st.oange im with you to haha he drops anything no matter what the conditions are. seen him drop some pretty crazy stuff before and to him hero snow doesnt matter.

sounds like abs is gonna need to add a parachute to the avy pack:D

No Kidding..... L.M.A.O.

Stray.... I bet time slowed down.... I bet one of those seconds felt alot longer:face-icon-small-win Bummer situation 4 sure...... I bet it drove you crazy for a while wondering what if I went high or pulled off a sick one footer and carved straight up...... Looks like it was a soft landing and you got lucky there....

If a guy can learn from any mistake it's a good thing..... It's still great footage... I hate to say it but everybody loves a good crash when nobody gets hurt and we can look back and laugh.....

Follow the simple rule of one guy making a pull and alot of unfortunate events would of had different out comes......

:beer;
