I hope the "tour truck" makes a left turn at AB and heads SW to central Idaho. I want to see how this works in person. Kind of a hotbed of PRO activity down here.

It's good news to see that this is the path for EFI on Wurston's 1100 billet twin. I've been wondering how that was going to work.

So all of the data acquisition is built into the software and read only through the program on your computer? DAS in the field is not part of the equation? What OS systems does the software support?

Hello droid based app creators...note books are PIA in the field and batteries don't last long in 15*. Very cool stuff and it's really too bad this market is so tiny...potential for fun is huge. Polaris is going to sell a lot of pistons if this is unleashed on the general populous.

How many millions of dollars would someone like to wager that if this flies Polaris will figure out how to spy code or in some other fashion protect the factory stock ECU from tampering or removal? Now I get to use my favorite comment "will this void my warranty" ?:face-icon-small-win:face-icon-small-win
 
thanks, i am wanting one keep us updated when we can order and does it come with everything to hook it up to your computer to make adjustments

treedocker, in the next two weeks we finalize n/a mapping and starts power kits(some different compression head and domes) with pipes and bigger injectors ect. If we can make it to haydays, we will show the ecu with a working sled and giving some infos and demonstration of the tuning software so we should also announce the pricing. the usb cable will come with the ecu.

no bluetooth connection(remember the cdi is built in the ecu so lots of hign frequencies noise)

depend on the customer knowledge but we will give A LOT of support to our dealers and customers, in our business summer is very busy and mid-october it is use to be very slow so we will dedicate all of our time to this ecu.

that is impossible...it is a complete replacement of the oem ecu . Polaris won't have the sled to exploded if you disconnect the harness from the ecu right !!!!! Now I get to use my favorite comment "will this void my warranty" ?:face-icon-small-win:face-icon-small-win
depends if you show up at the dealer stock or not :face-icon-small-win....but if tuned properly, you will not go at the dealer more often probably less with all the security functions available in this computer.

we are focusing now on finishing the racing season(4 weeks) in drift,rally,enduro,road track then we will put all our efforts toward the PRO. We are receiving this week dealers/pre-production units so we are going to dyno test not full time since we have other things to do but we will finish base mapping and one power kit so we can show up at haydays but we won't compete for sure. we are going to focus this winter, on giving dealers,turbo kit manufacturer support.it is so new to this industry that a lot of "teaching" will be requiered(for tuning only ), so no races for us......i am sure it won't take long before you see pros(with standalone) around competing tough. we are willing to help racers if they show up and run our ecu( is this an invitation????):face-icon-small-hap

yeah i think a lot of people are excited. to be honest i was skeptical about anyone getting the 1100 (or any big bore mod for that matter) to work with the polaris efi this winter based solely of the issues carl's has had with their 900 kit. but if this stand alone system is what it is claimed to be and works, it will be the ticket for full blown mod guys. get rid of the piggy back systems and have real adjustability. (is that a word??) this is the type of system i was seeing with the really serious turbo car tuners a number of years back when i was playing with that stuff. never got serious enough for it then, but i am very interested in hearing the results throughout the winter. especially with the 1100! good luck to all and keep us informed.

well, if you can't get over fuel amd timing,why trying to have a big bore or turbo installed?

it's exactly what it is claiming it is,and yes it is a dream come true for tuners and mod guys but also for mid mod guy.

you are right, it is in the car industry for so long....

PRICE PRICE PRICE, cmon and get us a price i want to know before i buy a pipe for my sled so i dont have to get the power commander and just get this instead.

The absolute minimum cost should have been determined long before development was even started, my guess is the price point is being determined based on the following question: What is the absolute highest cost the current market will bear?

FWIW. Not bashing the company, this is pretty standard operating practice.

Have a reserved expectation like Zipperno, no probs, but some of you guys...
We have not seen this system run yet so ok, kind of a unicorn, but then again we have not seen it fail either!

We have forever to tear these guys a new @$$hole if this is $2000 worth of crap and burndowns, but I get a feeling this has some real weight behind it.

Lets enjoy this heads-up and dream about all kinds of wonderful tuning that can happen if this delivers. No snow yet.

Ok guys, you got me!!! here is the end customer price list.

single ECU with software: 1475$ + options like antilag,launch control ect.
1799$ you get full race software and all you can eat options(best deal!!)

dealer pricing available.......but we are planning no more than 5(protected area) dealers in north america.If you have what it takes please send me an email(gino.fortin@gmail.com) . Tuning experience is a must, we will give to dealer a one week e.f.i. based extensive course.

do not forget, this ecu is a platform for multiple plugins to come like 800cc 2 stroke artic cat, side by side utv, ect. the only thing needed will be a small interface to plug in between the ecu and factory harness. the fact that the ecu as a build in cdi(with configurable dwell)open a wide area on many powersports.this ecu can drive any batteryless e.f.i. powersports on the planet and all of the non e.f.i. vehicules.
Don't forget this ecu do not only make turbo sled happy, but guys with less budget will be super,super,super,super happy with a low compression head , air cold intake and race pipe !!!!! and for those stocker well, just to have full control of the reverse cut off, and a bit more SAFE power it is worth it....there is so many things you can do when you get familiar with those type of ECU.video to come soon!!

That's not a too bad of a price. Will there be any kind of a warranty on the ECU it's self. In the future if you guys have any software updates or anything like that, will there be a fee to update or will it be free?
