STANDALONE ECU PLUG N PLAY DIRECT FACTORY REPLACEMENT 800CC POLARIS ENGINE

With the Vi-Pec (And MOTEC as well) that's being used on the SEA-DOO watercraft, places like RIVA (and Nils, of "RUDE Superchargers") offer/sell a calibration for certain STAGE 1,2,3 SET-UPS and back-up support as well.

Are you planning on offering programming that will "Get you in the ballpark" at this time, or is that all up to the end user???

for now,base mapping will be included for stock sleds and like i said earlier, power kits(in diffrent stages) will show up very fast and those will be mapped as well. As for turbo application, depending on the turbo kit manufacturer response, we may or may not market our own kit...depends on the reponse from the manufacturer....time will tell. Our first goal would be to work with the turbo kit manufactuer instead of competing againts them.This ECU would save them A LOT of hassles!!!

Just a Hint.. The stock Pro 800 Ecu Is $286.00...

So we can count on being i little higher then that.. Hell he said TWO Years of R&D.. That's NOT CHEAP!!

Will there be a full refund for your engine management system if the customer isn't satisfied?

we hope so, but definately not guys like you or neil with very limited knowledge who may considere themsleves as "persons who knows what a good running sled is".

These are all important things to me, I'm not going to take somebodys word that something works, I dont care what their education is, I deal with people all the time that tell me how smart they think they are.
obviously, you think you are smarter than everybody you talk to, so no point for me to argue.
If I cant throw a leg over it and see it runs from 2500ft to 8000ft+, ride in all conditions, trail, deep pow, tree bashing/boondocking, drag racing and really load the engine up some chutes, I'm not interested.

I am confused why you are trying to market something to western riders that IMO is untested,
that is your opinion...if thousands of hours are not enough for you than why aren't you producing one(ecu)?? I hope people have learned enough in the last 5 years to know better than to buy into internet sales.

A little higher, LOL, expect it to be 10 times that amount. And it'll be worth it I.M.O.(You can usually remove and and put it onto next years sled)

The MOTEC's and the VIPEC's are $3,000.00 PLUS options (full LCD screen, etc.........)

Mark Queen (Queen Racing) Lake Havasu Arizona runs a Vi-Pec on a TURBO POLARIS FST engine in a POLARIS RZR

And the YAMAHA + SEA-DOO Watercraft guys have been using them and buying them for 2-3 years now.

retail is 388$ for oem..at 286$ you can get the help cd no problem:becky:

First I would like to say its great that you are pushing forward and making this ecu available. A plug and play ecu that I know works! I have both Vi-pec and Linkecu standalones on my trackcars.

BUT....remember this ecu isnt better than the map you put in it. If the map isnt wll made and tested in all elevations, temps etc it will not work 100%. Ive had the Impulse standalone on my sled and the ecu did what it was supposed to do, but the map in it wasnt 100% done..... That why I switched to Boost-it. Its easy and basic but it works! And when I need to adjust its just pressing a few buttons. I can get the sled to run good in all sutuations....and no need for a laptop.

Like I said this new Vi-Pec ecu you have is great and extremely capable, lets hope the tuners can make the maps for it so it works good.

Based on what the V44 costs my guess is this ecu will cost above 2k. Not too bad if the maps you get for it works.

500 feet in 3.7 seconds and 142 + M.P.H.

Leaving the starting line with 10 lbs., then 30 lbs, and 40 lbs of friggin' boost on top end!

NEIL, now that you have slowed down, i am interested in discussing with you. Do not fear our ECU, it is a complete different product. there is a warranty on all vi-pec ecu on the market and this one is no exception. our ECU does exactly what it is advertising,(and way more!!).... as advertised it is PROGRAMMABLE, therefore it needs to be programmed!!we will help distributor to get the knowledge they need to do a good job and like i said, we will be all over the pro for this winter and we won't have to make it work since it is already working!! i will for sure stop say hello when our tour truck go by alberta and b.c

. Ive had the Impulse standalone on my sled and the ecu did what it was supposed to do, but the map in it wasnt 100% done.....
paul's ECU are custom build by hand and is standalone only on fuel management,therefore nothing to do with our product wich is assembled by a medical laboratory and fully taking over all sensors

this is our job and we will have it done.Sebastien (engineer/tuner)is in the business for 12 years now and we have done it all ,would be too long to open sebastien portfolio.

you didn't know it is available(race mapping) since 2010 on the 450f??WITH 0 WARRANTY ...
wouldn't think it will be long before all sleds/atvs/dirtbikes will come stock with this feature.
it is already available for all motocross BUT it is voiding you warranty and it is a mapping of their own.
so you'd better sell all you can before they all come programable from the factory.
Buy one so at least i won't be stock with this one :face-icon-small-win

read the entire thread and you will have a ballpark number.it is less than a pipe and pcv5 and you get full access to everything the factory can access and way more...let say in reverse you want that annoying cut-off out of? you can do it, higher voltage spark? you can....ect...launch control?antilag?boost based correction? you can ect...will worth the wait!!

do you think by installing this on a bone stock pro and making adjustments will it gain power by just adding the ecu, and i ride at 7k to 10k feet

thanks but i was just wondering i have a single pipe and head on 1 sled and a turbo on the other as well, i would want to use the ecu on these two sleds not a stocker,i was just curious as to what it would do for a stock sled.
