Snowies

Anyone got any info on Woods Landing??
snow is thin on B trail. Don't know about any other snow conditions up that way.

It was a long, hard ride today. Went from Albany all the way up north. Once we hit the backside there was good powder, but stucks abounded. Northern end of T trail, once you get back into the trees, has to be the worst trail I have ever ridden

we rode for close to two hours and didn't get more then a mile off the trial in one spot because of how many stucks we had.

No pics, forgot both cameras (moving and still).

Looks like there is going to be a group of us (4-5) that are going to be headed out for the 2nd to the 4th. I was wondering what are the number for good places to stay that have rentals and what each one rents.

Depending on what month you want,,, Albanycabins.com has the 5th of January, 14th thru 17th January, 23 thru 25 January, and 28 thru 31th January. Albany Lodge next door with rentals.

While I am at it, Feb 1-7, Feb 18-19, and Feb 24th onwards is available as well.

Price at Albany on Sunday was $3.60 per gallon.......

Yardfarmer and Coyote, when did you guys head out there? Did you have the pleasure of driving those good roads from Ogallala to Pines Bluff? We got out of Ogallala around 5:00 friday, and 40 mph all the way to Pines Bluff after I got a good sideview of my sled as the trailer decided to come around. One of the few times the roads were better in WY then in NE.

Rode out of Greenrock on saturday, and that was one of the coldest rides I think I have ever had. We did some exploring around French creek and then up northwest of the warming hut. No pics or vids, way to cold to get the camera out. 1st ride on the new sled, and loved it. The only complaint I had was no protection from the cold, but oh well. Then on sunday, took a short hungover ride out of Albany. All in all a great first weekend, but they need more snow. Hope fully they get more by the 4th. Put a 100 miles on the sled and no problems, yet.

Sledinhusker,
We drove out thursday after work, roads were fine, got to lar. about 1:30 am. Road friday, it was warmer than Sat. left Sunday a.m. Whats you new sled? edit, I see it in your sig line.

Don't tell people that!
It just makes more of them come.

Tell em there is no snow. It all melted, haven't you heard of global warming??

Haha.. and your one to worry about people coming mr greenie himself !

Maybe you should worry about your own state, or how many posts your getting on snowest!

COME ON OUT TO SNOWIES.. THE SNOW IS AWESOME !! All you gotta do is fight the greenies in the parking lots !!

Saterday and sunday ride

Saterday was cold and sunday was awsome. My brother and I found some untouched snow in some trees and played there for a couple or a hours. Was a good weekend besides some problems. I had them Sidekickers on my sled and when It got cold they got stiff and didn't want to kick up any snow. Seen a couple of xps on the side of the trail :face-icon-small-con.
