If you happened to use a credit card to pay paypal with then go that route.... I had a deal go bad on a race car 2 years ago where I had given a conditional deposit on the car, but the seller turned out to be a flake and tried to keep my deposit after he changed the terms. Paypal was no help, but Visa made it right. It was a HUGE help that I had saved all the emails as Visa wanted to see them when the seller tried to dispute the refund. It ALWAYS pays to keep good records!

the name ryan yarrow is ringing bells like crazy. I am certain that he was a scammer from the previous forum. I found this mention of him

Not if he's been at it as long as the peeps on here are starting to say.
For the record.
Scott hand delivered his motor in the tote that it was shipped to him in with just enough packing removed to see the top half.
I inspected it through the exhaust ports and noticed some damage to the pistons. Like normal, you can't see all the damage till ya pull the jugs. The cylinders are honable so figure a couple new pistons no big deal.
Put the dial on the pto end of the crank and it wobbles a long .008''. Hoping to get lucky and just have to true it, since its supposedly rebuilt, I split the case and what you see in the vid I sent Scott is what was there.
I'd like to wrap that crank round that dudes neck!!!

bad luck scott, sucks to see this happen. This kind of thing is why i always prefer to meet up somewhere so i can see what im getting
Man that sucks scotty. I'd do an internet search for scrap yards close to his zip code, they might be able to give you some info...maybe from a serial # thats stamped on the engine. That is of course if they track that sort of thing.
chitty deal for sure scott.. from the looks of it.. you're not the first person this d-bag has scammed.. Do some research with the UCC.. and let him know that the government is getting involved.. might make him change his mind about the refund..
Fact is anything that is there but out of specs is kinda the way it goes...but, FACT is not the right crank that was specified is fraud. Tell Paypal he shipped you a box of rocks and not a motor. Stick it to this fawger.

I see Ryan's up t his same sh!t again... He was on a few years ago and hosed a handful of people over than disappeared for a while... I bought a Pro-X chassis during that go around and parts were bent up or missing. There was a post at that time to warning people not to deal with Mr. Yarrow... I really wish SW would just band him. His a repeat offender on here, DooTalk, and HCS, others I'm sure too.
