Snow!

My best friend has a business down in Puerta Vallarta & he's a pro kiteboarder, I'm heading to visit him. I'm not exactly heading to Juarez down there, pretty far away from the problems. If my bro can live down there every day & never have a problem I'll be fine. I know what a target looks like, they're looking for rich people (you know, like bushy!) not peasants like me!!!!

As far as timing goes, I just trashed a steering post that had about 10 minutes of riding on it, I think the timing is PERFECT!!!!

We know how you and Abby are with Sled problems this year so hopefully those dont follow you. :) Have fun, and I think I would pass on the quick trip to Tijuana this round.
I will be riding if any snow turns up this weekend. Let me know when you get back if your planning on riding. I get the car license back tomorrow. So the leash is OFF. As long as I dont drive the truck like a sled anymore.:face-icon-small-con

Who, Wonder Woman? Linda Carter? Is she stripping :eek: I bet she's got double EE's by now! She was on one of the three channels back then! lol

Sled troubles are going around. Gonna have to pawn something to pay for my jug repair/plating, Dome, and another piston. Got detonation! Talk about chunkage, my mag piston fragged off some shrapnel and I beat it to dust for the last 5 miles of trail. The piston is now concave instead of convex. I knew when it happened, but I'd be dammned if I'd get drug out by an XP again:rolleyes: Chunk of piston punched into the nicasil in the squish zone, but the the rings were still floating and it ran OK! Leaned it out in area 54 a few weeks ago cuz clutching tweaks left me with only 7400 rpm to work with and I barely got back up. Fixed the clutching, but neglected to richen it back up. This tunnel dump can on the twins gives me much lower EGT readings than i'm used to seeing. Thought I was golden with them rarely climbing above 1200. Wrong! PTO lived but has a couple divots in the top and virtually no wash. Pretty sure cats ECU makes a change around 9K' in warm weather that doesn't get along with the BD box settings as well. There goes another 5 bills:rolleyes: I'll be riding on the "spare" top-end for awhile. It's all beat up, but might last a day or two:o

Bummer Bush!! First one this year though, pretty good compared to last year.

Paul, make it easy on yourself. Sell that hunkachit Cat on CraigsList to some VOHK sucka and go down and pick up an XP from Lynn and forget all those difficult sleepless nights wondering will my sled start in the morning. There's a saying about those who run the same game expecting different results. Don't be one of those guys lol.

Weekend after next if there's any snow left. New steering post & a few new hood tie downs & I'm good to go!
 
Yep, first meltdown this year and still haven't been on a rope, but I was close to snow-checking a 2010 M8 at midnight when I pulled the head and thought arghhh, not again! Keep fishin Duke. Should be 4' of snow on the ear's by Friday. You won't be able to hang with us on jumpy stumpy, but stop in and say hi :D
 
Flock no, I don't want to get shown up by a 136 :eek: Assuming the spare top-end makes it out of the lot, I'm game. Might be a day of PLPing and building you a ramp over the driveway. lol
 
I dunno bout that. Hasn't looked doable all year. I shoulda hit it last year that weekend we met up. It was perfect then sac was just too small I guess.
 
The farther away it gets from you the harder it is to nut up. lol Bring my radio if you can lay your hands on it.

We are riding RE/Buff Saturday. XC700116, Mule, PJ and maybe Wonderbread if I can get hold of him.
 
I am looking to ride either R/E or Irwin on Saturday and Maybe Sunday. Both seem to be showing some new snow. Anyone want to do the same. I am looking for anyone who wants to ride.
