Snow!

RE is picking up snow and 20 degrees. The base is is fine and will freeze up, tail of this storm should drop a bunch more by tomorrow, aaaand snow to continue all week, so we'll be riding 3' of new by Friday:D Don't hang er up yet. That warm days AND nights spell was a freak and did play heck on the base, but we're sposed to get back to the normal warmish days and freezing nights pattern that makes for a good spring base (no slush holes til May!).

MOFOs!

Snow is also falling across the north-central and southern mountains, but meteorologists are predicting less accumulation than originally forecast.

Norv Larson of the National Weather Service in Grand Junction says not as much snow fell Sunday night as expected. He says winter storm warnings and advisories are still in effect.

The Weather Service originally predicted eight to 16 inches in the northern mountains by Tuesday morning, with four to eight inches across the rest of western Colorado.

Kaleb, keep your head down in mexico, crime is out of control down there. between the bad economy and the drug war lords dumping body's in the street, americans are advised to proceed cautiously. (seriously, not to pee in your cheerios but be careful)

Just came over RE and it's looking A LOT better than a few days ago. Probably 8-9 inches on the ground. It was dumping snow pretty darn hard on my way through. Couldn't stop and check things out, had a few horses that needed to get home.

My best friend has a business down in Puerta Vallarta & he's a pro kiteboarder, I'm heading to visit him. I'm not exactly heading to Juarez down there, pretty far away from the problems. If my bro can live down there every day & never have a problem I'll be fine. I know what a target looks like, they're looking for rich people (you know, like bushy!) not peasants like me!!!!

As far as timing goes, I just trashed a steering post that had about 10 minutes of riding on it, I think the timing is PERFECT!!!!
