Snow Eliminators--review time!!

You simply place the product where you want it...trace out the outline of the inner holes and cut away all of the existing stock board that would show through the windows cut 1/8 larger then the new product covers. You grind down any rivets or nibbles that keep them from laying flat and poke holes then fill with rivets. SIMPLE It then rests on what is left and is riveted in place. They add substantial strength to almost every model we sell. Certainly fair greater traction and in most cases they help in evacuating snow so that you don't slip off when you are showing off to your friends and loose your sled to a tree.

I was wondering how the snow eliminators go on-do you cut out part of bored and it inserts? someone please explain

Something like this, it lays over the marked cut outs after you cut them and rivets to the remaining edges both inside and outside.

You will want to be careful not to cut the existing braces on the underside of the running board where you see the rivets. Notice the rivets in the tunnel as well, this is your rear skid mount bracket and it's attachment to the tunnel/running boards. You can see how we marked around the existing bracket. I don't know if it is reccomended or not, but I actually drilled out the bracket mounting rivets in the running board, then attached the Better Boards with longer steel rivets and backing washers. You'll want an air riveter for this little task. Hope this helps. EW

Put them on my 07 M1000 and love them, which I would of done it sooner. I broke my knee last year slipping off my running boards.

IQ RAW or RACER CHASSIS?

NO on the RAW by design from Polaris on that tunnel chassis you will end up with a broken or cracked tunnel right behind the front suspension mount. This RMK RAW IQ design is perfect and the best in the biz. Ask the guys who ride them. FLAT OUT RAVES ABOUT THEM! Other manufactures that I have seen have offered it and its A POORLY THOUGHT OUT DESIGN by people who do not ride or have not properly tested their products in the field. (how about that!)

On the racer chassis yes when I finally get around to it they will be like the XP, NYTRO, and GEN II designs because those systems require them and would support the flex on their tunnels. On the racer's there are very few of those in the world compared to what we sell everyday on other sleds. It's a business thing right now. Have to wait until I have time to work on these less popular models.

I put them on last year and like them a lot. One of the top three mods to my 03 1M 900 as well as Sled Junky's drop brackets and Wildchild's forward mount steering post. It is pretty hard to ride with confidence if you cannot stand up with a good foot hold. IMHO a must have for a mountain rider after avy beacon, shovel and probe.

Anyone make eliminators for the apex? Traction is miserable.
Has running board coolers but thinking could just cut out the outside and rivet outside and to tunnel.

Give me a couple days--Mine are on the way for my old moddy ZX tunnel--there are two different Zx tunnel styles--a wide and a narrow--just a FYI.

F-BOMB, You suck, the order I placed with you got here so damn fast. My sled isn't even here and I already have your boards. What the hell??

I wish other vendors shipped as fast as you did. I'm still waiting on a set of scratchers that were ordered a full week before I placed my order with you.

I have the ones by Cutler and they work great. Snow just falls right through. One of the best mods i have done.
