Jeff I was thinking of hitting LTS or Sanora this weekend. I heard LTS had some great snow. Are you coming up here this weekend or were you just saying you wanna ride? How is that hill or side hill look down where you are that I want to try. Phatty text me today and showed me a pic of about three feet on top of a car SICK I tell ya SICK now that was some snow. WOW if I was made of money I would be on the road again. John let us know how the snow is up there PLEASE give us some good news....
smash...i'm riding somewhere thursday. probably local but i wouldn't be against a day-strike up there if some of you can sneak away.

Quick ride report:
I rode out of LTS today and it was phenomenal! About a foot or more of fresh made it a great day. Rode mostly North facing slopes running through trees. It was the best snow I've been in this year.
Get up there fast as no one else was tracking it up today. We were in heaven.

First off I fore got my Camera. First time this yr.
Bassetts had about 2 or 3 inches of new. I unload @ the gate and around the corner before Sardine Lake turn off their was pavement coming out already. :angry:
I made the top of Haskell Pk going around the North side and over the East end of the Pk into the little saddle on top and only had 8 inches of fresh snow with soft slushy stuff under neath. And in a day or so it well freeze up to make powder on top of ICY SH*T.
There is little lake down on the South side of Haskell Pk. I went down to it today and was afraid to go down any farther because of low snow. And lots of down big tree.
I went back up to the ridge that we played on last yr. @ Paul's service. Then hit the Bear Trap rd. over to Yuba Pass.
I think that there is only 3 or 4 inches of new SNOW at Yuba and a little more in Lincoln Valley. I went up over the steep ridge to the west of Lincoln and found maybe 6 inches of new but not any more. Then down Deer Creek back to my truck @ Bassetts.
Fun ride and seen so stuff that I've want to go into. But lots of STUMPS and ROCK and other things to hit and try and drive around.

Talked to a friend in Bridgeport and he said Sonora got lots of snow out of this last storm.
John we rode up here on Sunday at Swain Mtn and there was at least 10 to 12 inches everywhere. The base was a little thin in spots but the powder was great. sounds like the storm went a little north.
were headed to Claremont mountain (west of quincy) on thurs. if anyone wants to tag along. I hope there is snow in quincy, anyone know?
got a report from some people that rode sonora today. they said 3 feet of fresh and nobody there. i wish it didn't take so long to drive around for us down here. we have about 2 feet of fresh that will be totally set up by tomorrow. we're riding thursday down here if anyone is interested.

OH MY GOD I want to put a small calibur gun to my head. That is sick wow I dont know what to say I have chills RENO SUCKS BALLS these mountians have not idea what hills and snow are I wow wow wow wow wow. I will be back SOON I mean REAL SOON. I will let you know sooner that you think....

haha here is a teaser, was over the holidays and dont worry my buddy is standing in his trench, 15 min from class to where we unload at, was in the same spot yesterday and it had about 2 feet of powpow in it, but no camera.
