Silvertip's Playground 09

thats funny, AO deletes it and silvertip quotes it. all sleds have problems, it seems there is a "shake down" time after you mod something, normally after a few rides. I find its normally bolts backing out, I just lock tight everything now and it seems to help a ton...

you might want to check the crank runout though, if the clutch is missing a piece, then its not balanced on the crank. You could have a slightly bent crank. Wherever you get the clutch from should be able to do this...

Sadly, I have spent a ton of time regarding broken clutches :(

I had a great time today with smrsux, his friend Charles from Weber Lake (nice meeting you), AO, and my friend Eric from NC. It was cool this morning @ LTS like 5!!!!!!!!!!!!! above. berrrrrrrrrr:rolleyes: smrsux lead the ride today and it was a GOOD ONE. All three of the BIG boy were showing us how they could ride and it was improvise. Lots of Icy place also out there.

I think my camera my be dieing. A lot of blue in most of them??????

We played our way over to AO Hill and he had the low mark (something about not liking this hill or something???)
Then smrsux and Eric had the high mark.
The red arrow up high is the rock that AO's sled launched off of this spring

And it the end of the day smrsux is side hilling across this very steep hill and gets stuck above a hill full of small tree. He digs his self a bench and takes off across this (I mean really STEEP) side hill and he is scramming so loud you could hear him a mile away.

Thanks Again for a great day

I love the highmarking picture!!!!! And as far as the hood up.....all I did was look.....looking at plugs in the first 250miles is fair game;)

LMFAO Silvertip the pic is to funny nice work I LOVE it good ish my friend. Thanks for the props it was a great ride I put on 70 miles of track spinning. AO Silvertip has you I believe you checked your plugs on the way back at the same time I did so sorry dude bra. But Silvertip I believe he was just admiring the Horsepower under the hood. I mean can you blame him new T does rip.

Kris,

You're going to have to host a sidehill skills clinic pretty soon....

Cant wait to ride with you guys this year... too much work...

Rode out of DLI today. This shoot Clint got is one of the sickest pulls I have witnessed. It doesn't look that steep...there is no way back down. Either pull it or stick it. To put it in perspective...a turbo polaris 700 only made it half way!!!! From the picture back is all trees. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic.
The other pic is on French. Pretty badass to see planes on French.

ive been to that chute a few times. tried climbing it once but i didnt make it. very wild ride on the way down threw the trees. way steeper then it looks and it gets steeper and steeper the higher you go. i saw a guy climb it last year on a turbo m1000. it was pretty sick.

Guilty as charged I guess. It's funny all the years I've ridden back there I never saw that shoot or maybe saw it but never considered climbing it. Anyways last spring decided to give it a go and now It's one of my favorites, never seen another track go out of it, but I'm sure you guy's will find it soon enough. Maybe Jeff will let me climb it for ES5.

I know which one it is now.....Jesse climbed it a few years back and got stuck right at the top. I wrecked my 910 a few chutes over to the right.

have camera will travel! i'd love to shoot you in that chute clint!! let's roll!

we had fun ride today in a total blizzard. stayed in the trees with about 15" of fresh. the turbo ran like it stole something today...sweet! me, dunbar and jonesy went up with edge, billygoat, justin and spicoli. eric broke an a-arm and justin had his risers break. fun little half-day ride. this warm storm decimated the lower snow pack...and by decimated i mean there ISN'T any snow below 5500. although that is changing as we speak. it snowed so hard today on us that we had trouble finding our tracks on the way back out.
