Sat. at Cisco
Rode out of Cisco for the 3rd time in a week on Sat. Some sled had gone up the road last night. So we were able to zip right up to the High country. Cold again this morning like 8 to 10 deg. berrrrrr!!!! The parking lot was almost full when we left. Lots of guys and gals getting out to enjoy the first decent snow of the yr.
I rode with Greg and Eric from NC today and we had Eric brand new Dragon out on its maiden ride. This is a VERY nice sled. We had lots of stucks and a few stump were found. I got to look up close and personal at my head light 4 time on this ride. That has got to be a record. Nothing like having your sled STOP and the driver not!!!!!!!!!
We did 55 miles and only got one radius rod with a light bend in it.
Greg and Eric with a nice looking new sled
We went back down by Yoder's log and it didn't look like it had snow up there at all.
We were able to get up the North side of Buzzards Roost. It was a nice climb up though the trees and the snow was pretty deep going up there.
Greg coming across the top of Buzzard looking back for Eric.
And here comes that shiny White sled with Mt Lola in the background.
