I had a Great Powder ride with Yoder today. There was 10 to 12 inches of new @ Bear Valley.

As can be seen by Yoder's rig dragging it's front end.
Went in Carr/Feely and Grant found a little lake that was not frozen over very well.
Here I thought he was just stuck.

But NO he was in the lake. Had to dig the ice out of the skid for him to get out.
This is a Pic of the water after he got out. He covered most of the open water up with track spin.

I think we almost found the limit for the Viper today. We had close to 2 ft of fresh powder going up to the outhouse from Milk and there it where we found other tracks. But they didn't go on East. Worked our way back down to the big bowl on the main rode and I was able to climb out of it. But their was close to 18" of powder there also.

The other tracks were coming down from the top.

We did run into SaltyDog out there today. Thanks you for the gas so I could keep on riding. We did close to 60 miles again today. Great ride.

I hope that Grant will post the Pic. he has of me stuck. (NOT) You talk about DUMMY stucks. That was me.

Thank god i have been waiting all season for this type of storm. Three days off and foot after foot of snow yes....i am so happy i could cry i cant wait to get out there i love it. God i love winter and i will not even say what season i hate because i pry we never see it again...........

Thank god i have been waiting all season for this type of storm. Three days off and foot after foot of snow yes....i am so happy i could cry i cant wait to get out there i love it. God i love winter and i will not even say what season i hate because i pry we never see it again...........

Well several major storms to hit California next 5 days.

Nope they only got about six inches so canned that idea. Utah is off the charts though I would have loved to have gone there with three feet of Powder oh god I could only imagine the drops and powder shots sick off the hook drops I am sure. Peace out I am down like four flats on a cadilac

Snow Conditions

Does anyone out there know of the conditions around the Bridgeport area? Last year we rode Bridgeport to Bodie and Bridgeport up over Ricky Peak to Sonora Pass. We want to plan a ride from Bridgeport to Hawthorn, NV and hit the Ricky Peak and Sonora Pass areas again. Last year the timing wasn't right and we rode on Sierra Cement at Sonore but the off trail riding was good. We want to time this year's trip with better snow. Thanks in advance for any information you can provide. Roy

Nice Day @ Grouse

I rode out of Grouse yesterday. Had a good ride. The snow was setting up in all the exposed area but on the North sides still lots of heavy but deep powder. It was really good over by Meadow Lake area. Lots of stucks and hill we couldn't climb.
