Nice to know somebody is riding.
I see the state of Georgia is getting snow.
A low pressure system over Washington / Idaho should help get some powder.
Both hoods were up letting them cool off in the 50degree weather.
Matty Mac we Polaris has to open up the hood once in awhile to cool off all that Power it seems to get hot when you are pulling all those horsies....
I was able to do a little side hilling and able to scratch up the new Assualt apperently the new IQ chassi leans over a little easier than the old edge ended up pulling to hard and ended up in the trees grabbing a hand full of throttle and scratching up the new sled not bad though sh!tl buff out. We did 20 miles and I even found a kicker to huck the new sled to.....First ride of the season and extreamly happy with the new sled.. Sure glad I bought a POLAIS.
King,
Done with the Harley lets get the winter rolling.
I went out 120 East (Benton Road) and then south up the Crooked Mdws Rd to about 1 mi from Crooked Mdws. This is an area that i logged in the early 70s.
Hope that help Don.![]()
Are there any private "cabins" there on NFS land?
I stopped in @ Busteres and got Wayne phone # down in NM. The guy said Wayne was doing good. I well be calling him this afternoon. I start riding with him in 1969.
John:
Did you get a hold of old man Norton down in New Mex? Shoot me a PM or email me and let me know how he's doing. His phone # also.
Thanks.

Well for some thing to do today. I drove up to the high country and did a little chore that I was going to do after it started storming. I remarked the Marker Tree in Upper Jones Valley and did a 5 mi day hike just to walk off Thanksgiving.
John:
I gotta laugh everytime I see the name "Jones Valley". That Jones fella sure got around. We have this one, then one on the West side of Webber Peak, and one on the way up to Babbitt. That's three of them in about a 30 mile radius. Wonder how many there are in Calif.? Would make a good trivia question.
Enjoyed the pics.

I think this Jones guy was chasing the Bear that they named all the Bear Valley's after
So Mt Rose has about 20 inches of just awesome snow. The problem, NO BASE. What amazing powder just needs to settle and cover up all of the bombs. Able to dial clutching in on sleds today so I guess not a bad day.
