This was the last ride till we get new snow. Still got one more place I could go but it a long drive and the snow is going south.
I think today was the best so far this yr. Yesterday was good but today was better. I rode alone today and unloaded @ the Fordyce Y this morning. The 4X4s had gone up the hill, but still no track to the East. I tryed to go to Mossy Pond but that was not to be.
It was time to turn around with the big rocks in the Jeep Trail

I went back to the main road and the next 2 Pic tell the story there

Then I headed off to Sand Ridge and was with in 100 ft of the top there.
This Pic was taking @ 8175 ft and their was 15 to 18 inches of snow every where.

Then it was over to the Marker Tree and there was only about 8 inches there.

Another great day on the snow.

I drove down to Mammoth today for a short ride. And I mean short. 8 hrs driving 2 1/2 riding. Not a good average i don't think.

I went out 120 East (Benton Road) and then south up the Crooked Mdws Rd to about 1 mi from Crooked Mdws. This is an area that i logged in the early 70s.
