RIP Dan Davidoff, you Krazy Canadian.

Dan the Man

Only talked to Dan once over Snowest and he was such a delight. I grew up watching the Extreme Team videos (Sno Extreme 3 and Gravity Meltdown) with my brothers and they made me want to snowmobile like those guys. When I first saw Dan on his Yamaha Mountain Max shreading the slopes I knew he was one of a kind. He always made the videos entertaining and his abilities as as snowmobiler was "extreme" to say the least. He will be greatly missed and I am so sorry to hear about this loss. To the top Dan and rest easy.

WOW...that really sucks. I always wished I had a chance to meet Dan. I was always in awe of things he climbed....but for me, I just loved his love for the sport. He seemed like such a fun positive person to be around. My heart goes out to his friends and family.

RIP DAN..... TRULY A LEGEND IN THIS SPORT FOR BOTH HIS RIDING AND HIS PERSONALITY...... HE WILL BE MISSED BY MANY.......

Rip Krazy Canadian Amazing guy. This was the Avalanche in castlegar,bc. Not the blue river,bc one where two more passed

RIP Dan Davidoff :brokenheart::brokenheart:

My favorite rider from Team Thunderstruck--His energy and enthusiasm is so infectious. His incredible talent at piloting a snowmobile in a mostly vertical direction through the tightest of terrain is awe-inspiring. A man among men who danced with the angels has been given his wings...

Prayers to his family and for all of us whose lives he touched even if he didn't say a word to us...may we all learn a little something from his loss and ride safe!

God Bless, Dan!

RIP Fellow Rider.
Never met the man but his story is inspiring.
My thoughts go out to his family.

My heart is hurting tonight. I had the great pleasure of meeting and doing business with Dan. He was a great man and an inspiration in my eyes. All I can say is the world has lost a great man and the sledding world has lost an Icon! Have a blast hitting those heavenly hills up there my friend!?

One of the nicest guys I ever had the pleasure of meeting. I honestly don't think he could have been disliked. If anyone would have wanted to go out the way he did it was him.The scary thing is that he was very avalanche savy and one of the best riders in the world with all the best gear. This should be a wakeup call to everyone on just how bad the avalanche conditions are. Just because you are at the top of the game doesn't mean you are immune. Everyone needs to be extra cautious out there. R.I.P Dan.

Very very sad :(

Didn't know Dan well, but he is THE name for sledding around here...was shocked to hear the news going around town.

Very very sad news, thoughts to his family and loved once goes out from BnB in Norway.
Dan was a inspirational, krazy happy man who always gave me a good laugh and thrill whilst watching him on VHS and DVD

RIP Dan, you'll be missed:rose:

WOW RIP Dan a pioneer in the sport. The mountains don't care how much experience you have. Positive thoughts go out to his family to help them through this rough time.

Wow, I couldn't believe it when I first heard. Just yesterday I was laughing at a vid Thunderstruck posted with him flying way too high off the top of a climb and laughing as he recounted it.

He was always great to watch killing insane climbs and generally fooling around in his videos. He will be missed!

Sounds like he was headed to his small cabin in the MTNs to check the snow depth on a snow poll, a path he has taken a thousand times. He often goes alone to check it, a sidehill gave way on his way there. Bad things can happen when you least expect it.

RIP to a legend in the sled world.
