Rentals Near Grand Lake, CO

Are there any snowmobile rentals around the Grand Lake area that rent something more than a 600? I am looking for something like an M8, Ski Doo 800, Polaris Dragon, or Yamah Nyrto/Apex.

Lots of places in town at Grand Lake and On the Trail Rentals at the base of the trail head but I don't think anything bigger than a 600 can be rented >>>>.

What do they get per day to rent a 800 Summit? Might be bringing a few guys who don't have MTN sleds this yr, so they will need something!

Why do you need an 800 in GL? Except for the rare deep pow day the new 600s will do everything an 800 can do at 1/2 the cost. Got beacons?

5 Star, and Power World both rent bigger sleds, but you have to trailer. On the Trail Rental does have a couple of M1000s, or 800XPs that they rent, but just don't advertise. On the Trail is great, because it's literally on the trail - so - no trailering needed. Not a clue on rates of them though.

On the Trail allows you to only ride in the Grand lake area.

PowerWorld/5 Star will let you go anywhere you want. You can trailer up yourself if you have a suitable vehicle or they will trailer up for you. This is good because say RE gets 3' of fresh on a 12' base and GL accumulates 4" on top of a crusty 36" base, where would you really wanna go?
