Pro RMK Knee Pads

Thank you everyone for your great advise! I'm going to have them mounted on my sled. I have the Klim pants with the knee pads and I think having both will be a great idea. I'm having them install venting on the lower side panels so it won't affect my vent plans.

Wether or not you install the maxi pads on your sled, you should have real mx style knee braces on your legs at all times. The dash isn't the only place you hit them. Or worse yet, twist them. Ever tumble down a hill and get caught up in a rolling sled??? ride the mtns hard long and sooner or later you will. On the same note, the pads that are in the Klims and MF pants are just little bump protectors. I wouldn't want to take much of a hit with just them. I don't get on a bike or a sled without them.

Fox Moto Knee. They give a little protection from hyper extention but not to the degree that the $300-$600 braces do. At about $50, they are a great mix between a set of real high dollor braces, and cheap shin guards. At the very least, run a set of shin guards. There are a few other of the hybrid guards out there now too. I believe Alpine star has a very nice set out for under $100 as well. Once you start riding with them, you will feel naked without them. About like not wearing a helmet.

Here is a link to the thor force. They would be a great choice. Just what I described above. 666 makes a nice set as well. Lots of choices these days. Not too long ago, there wasn't this middle line of protection. Make sure to choose a set with the hinged knee and not just shin guards.

I installed the Arctic Cat Pro Climb knee pads on my Pro. They fit very nice and have lots of padding. Just sucks having kitty parts on my beast. lol

I am a old fart, I put on the Polaris knee pads and I wear a knee pad/chin gaurd combo, I think they are fox moto knee's.
