power commander and turbo tunning?

anyone using a pcv with a turbo and possibly the auto tune as well? i know the pcv alows for a aux input(like boost) so you can map for different amounts of boost. just wondering how well it works since the boost maps only give rpm and boost but no throttle position.

We have been using the PCV with our kits for a while. They work really good. The drawback right now is that it takes some time on the hill with a laptop to get them dialed in. Once dialed they are good to go.

The PCV has a boost reference input. We run a MAP sensor to the boost line and then the MAP sensor plugs in the PCV port and give a boost reference that is voltage based.

The reason you don't have throttle position or angle on the pressure input table is boost is not specific per throttle. You can build 3 lbs at half throttle loaded and 3lbs at full throttle with minimal load. This way it adds the specified amount of fuel per pound of boost. It is better controlled this way.

We are using stock injectors on M8s up to around 8 or 9 lbs of boost and then using 1050cc injectors for 8-20 pounds. We pull a LOT of fuel on the bottom for the bigger injectors to keep the bottom end clean.

so have you tried adding the auto tune then? I would think a couple progessively harder days of riding and you would have a descent map built Im assuming when using a boondocker turbo you can still use there ebc with the pcv?

Going to be riding at sea level, and also at 9k + feet so will need good maps and boost levels for both areas.
