Post the Non-Ethanol Gas Stations

Will do. And also, Apple station is ethanol free but I think the quality of the fuel is low. Also that old shell now a 7/11 doesn't have stickers on the pump yet.

Jardines on orchard Drive is ethanol free.

I had to work the Gas station at costco in bountiful the other night got 2 loads both drivers stated that in the past 6 m we have only received one half load of gas with ethanol in it. He says the plant where we are getting our gas doesn't add it at the moment. How true that is Not sure but I verified it with the gas station crew because they log the loads that have ethanol.

So what plant are "we" getting our gas from? and who is we?

Thats a mildly confusing post.

Confirmed today, jardines on orchard drive is E free.

Any stations on the way to Evanston for tomorrow morning?

RB's in centerville (in front of Walmart) has 88 E-free.

Thomas petroleum in NSL also has E-free. They close at 5:00PM though

thanks

I totally didn't know about cardwells sinclair. I can't wait to go check it out. I live right by the one in midvale.

I use an app for my phone called "ethanol free" but it is kind of a piece of crap. It doesn't know about a lot of the stations, so I go there and I report them, but then it still doesn't show up?

Anyway, the stations I know of that it doesn't have are the RB's in centerville as mentioned above as well as the Scaddy's on Lehi Main Street. Now these Cardwell stations too? Also, the pro stop in Riverton does VP 110. It's ethanol free, but it's leaded - and race gas - so totally different than your average 88 E0.

i didn't notice multiple pumps but found one with kerosene and solvent.
it's the single pump w/ 3 handles on the far east side with a lot of pipes by it. it was $3.55/ gal last week.

just an FYI..you can get apps for your phone that will show you stations in your area (or any area) that offer Non-ethanol fuel and they will show you which grades they offer it in. If I recall its called Pure Gas, I use it and gas buddy all the time. Its kind of nice to know that when your on a sled trip that the station 15 miles ahead is 10 cents cheaper a gal. Eric

There is at least one in the south canopy which is the one I used. According to pure-gas.org, it is at pumps 13,14,and 17.

91 Octane Minimum

I have an AC '11 M-8 that requires 91 octane. I know a handful of places that are ethanol free, but they are all 88 octane. I'd rather put non-ethanol 88 in than 91 octane with ethanol, but does anyone know if 88 octane will run in a the newer cat 800 motor without issues or power loss?

Also - can't find 91 octane non-ethanol in Ogden, but I'm new to the area. Please help if you know of a place

pure gas

Man I've been using an app called "ethanol free" lately, but it kind of sucks. I think puregas is the one I used to have, thanks for the reminder guys. And I too confirmed Caldwell Sinclair in Midvale. Their pumps are even on credit card machines for the super late night fillups. hooray!!!

I honestly believe that with our elevation increase, the 88 would be just fine, however, vp110 is so easy to come by that I just mix that in at about a 1:6 ratio for my cat that wants 91.

Just went in to the Sinclair at 1900 west and 5600 south in Roy they have 88 non ethanol fuel at the pumps now. I went in to the store to inquire, the attendant stated that it was true and they have had it for about a month. The owner said 91 was not selling so well so he decided to try 88 non ethanol. I hope we can all support this smaller station as it is right on the freeway exit in Roy. Happy sledding. http://www.snowest.com/forum/images/smilies/beer.gif
