Post the Non-Ethanol Gas Stations

The Maverick out by Smith & Edwards (on the east side of the free-way) has 88 ethanol free. You have to go around to the back of the building by the semi pumps. The pumps out front don't have it.

Anybody know if Craig's service on 13th still has eth-free? I like to fuel up there before I head up parleys.

Craigs does have 88 oct non ethanol... I got some a week or so ago and it was $4.05 / gal.

The 88 non ethanol at the SINCLAIR (Cardwell Distributing) [801-561-4251] 8137 S. State St. as of today is $3.33/gal

Must mix for 91

FocusJR - I also have a cat that wants 91. I also agree that 88 ethanol free is better than 91 with ethanol, especially at the elevations we all ride at. However, my solution to getting ethanol free 91 is to buy some VP110 and mix it in on about a 6:1 ratio. The VP110 is ethanol free but is leaded. So make sure you don't put that leaded stuff in your cars, but it is fine in our 2 stroke snowmobile engines.

I get my VP110 from the pro stop in Riverton, but that's a bit far for you. I've also gotten VP110 from Thomas in Bountiful, but they are only open business hours. For closer to Ogden you might consider the place at 2550 South and about 1500 West in Ogden. They sell Sunoco race gas instead of VP but I'm sure Sunoco has something equivalent to VP110. The good part is that at a 6:1 ratio, you don't need to buy race gas every time. If you buy 5 gallons, it should last a few rides.

The Pro Stop in riverton still has non ethanol 110 at the pump. The Pro Stop in draper is no longer selling race fuel at the pump, dirt bags.

Just got 88 non-eth at the Sinclair ( Cardwell Distributing 801-561-4251 ) at 8137 S State street for $3.28/gal

Ah

Ah yes, that's the name of the place Kellerstrass. I had forgotten, thanks for the reminder, it's been a while since I have been up there.

91 Eth free

Anyone know if thomas in NSL has 91 eth free? and can you just pull up and fill? Need to fill the boat.

91 Octane Premium Ethanol Free Fuel

ProStop has 91 Octane Premium Ethanol Free Fuel. 12600 South 1977 West in Riverton Utah. It is in the pump on the west side of the station. Easy to identify by the red handle. $3.99 per gallon as of Saturday. :face-icon-small-hap

pro stop riverton

Well, I can confirm the pro stop in Riverton. Here is the sticker on their pump.

Unfortunately, however, it isn't win-win as they are now putting this E free 91 in the pump that used to have the VP110, which now means no more VP110 from the pump there. Bummer. Also, based on the lies told by Craigs a few years ago about their E free 91, I plan to work on verifying that this actually is 91 and not 88.

Apparently the Larry Miller group sold the Pro Stop chain to a company called Overland Petroleum HQ in Hurricane, UT. I'll call them monday to try to pick their brain about this really being 91.

update

I think the price at Cardwells last night was like $3.01 maybe?

So I called the guy today at overland petroleum (the company that purchased the pro stops.) He said that they bought the place, and didn't want to sell VP110, so he took the VP110 that they had and mixed it with some E free 88 in order to create an E free 91.

Once that is empty, he said that they will keep filling it with E free 91, but it will just be bought direct as E free 91, not mixed like this first tank. He said that when he buys it, he will send me a copy of the bill of lading so that I can see that it really is 91 (I told him Craigs had fooled us all a few years back so we are now skeptical.)

So until they get that new load in, just make sure you aren't filling your cars with that e free 91 because VP110 is leaded. Once they empty it and get the new load in, then it will be fine for cars as well as it is unleaded e free 91 that they are buying.

Let us know when you get the copy of the bill.
I want to fill my big tank at home with fresh clear 91 no lead.
