polaris tips

haha, whatever

You know you laughed when you read it, cause it is so true .

You know I am jsut bustin your chops :D

Hurry up and get it done so we can ride, but then again you dont really need to hurry with all this crappy weather

but then again, im biased and havent found a poo that impressed me...

Bug...does it have to break every other trip to impress you???

The young man found another sled he likes. Might not be what some others like..but if you will pay, maybe he'll take what you want. It's funny how some people who don't have one know so much about one. He has ridden one and rode with 2 of them. I guess other's can spout BS by just sitting on one...Wish everybody was that d*** good.

The young man has a full time JOB...all he was after was some more insight to add with IQRIDR and RMANZEK comments about a sled they OWN/RIDE...
So if he wants to spend HIS money, so be it...I'll support him fully in his choice.

Son, You always make me proud!!!

that has a lot to do with the riders, not so much the sleds though
HUH? Kinda wierd how most of the freestyle riders chose the IQR, must have been more the rider than then the chassis. I think Chad and Ryan were talking about that on our ride.

:)

Well if you would have gotten off you LAZY behind and got you chit off the river, you could have gone with us ;)

Are you leaving your mutated kitty on the marsh because you don't want to ride with yeti? He can handle casper in all conditions, really has made leaps and bounds from the days of swamp bashin. As far as casper is concerned Yeti has yet to hit the tip of the ice berg for tweaks.

ive rode revs and i own a iqr will never ride a rev again and i only had a 440 iqr it is by far the funnest sled i have ever rode the dragons were nice but i love the standing position of the racer tons of suspension...

now its gettin a heart transplant with a 700

any one whos ever jumped a iqr prolly has an idea y most of the x gamers were iqrs they jump awesome

Catillak, name one thing a rev excells at more than an IQr...I'll be waiting. Yeti might not be a jumper yet but when you buy one of these sleds, the things you can do with it change the way you ride one. Jumps you looked at before and never considered start to look a hell of a lot easier..not to mention, on any given day riding I am usually the only one in the area riding one, and every other guy is on a rev..

I say buy one and rally the hell out of it.

I got an 08 stock for sale but you've already seen it yeti! its in great shape don't really wanna sell her but i will give me a call 252-9562. goin ridin tomorrow so wish us luck! and go with an iq, they definitely outperform the rev's, and firecats unless your Tucker Hibbert.

ya im not gonna build an intense mod.. i watched a stock iq 6 make it up to the top of turnigain. on a 121 i think it was.. i also heard talk of a 700 racer from polaris.. thatd be a nice move there.. maybe track it up alittle.. dont really feel like a 121.. and everyone wants a 8 sec car they can drive on the street.

YEah I was up with Yeti and pretty sure the my iq 600 stocker did make one of the first tracks up on top of turny the day of the tradegy. and it goes anywhere i want it, plus i changed jets at beginning of season, and haven't sweaked on it once! this is the first iqr that i've had that i haven't had to change jets every ride!

Then theres the rev chassis 2008 600 rs! lol what a joke! it rides nice cruising slow on trails but when i took it on the hill and carved around it was a horrible ride. nothing against skidoo i like how my buddies 05 summit rev rides. this new chassis, even though it is light i would not recommend it, unless you want to spend some money bulking it up. well just my 2 cents.
If you don't go with an iqr for a short track go with a firecat.

rah rah rah
we know who rides polaris in here.
well not to be a dicc so ill just wish him the best for it like everything else. enjoy

hey its not that were Polaris riders, i have owned an 03 f7 snopro, and have rode alot of revs since everyone has one, and i have rode both of the 08 iq's and rev's and i definitely prefer the iq, I no a skidoo rider that wants to sell there 08 for an iq next season... so it's not just bull **** i am talkin. Whatever you want yeti! there both good sleds i just recommend the iq stronger chassis, more stable, and way more hp hands down! good luck riding all!

if i had an 08 doo i would sell it too. and i see you point but he asked for tips and advice.. i gave him my advice, and he knows that. he rides with you guys so he already has your advice, right? so he was lookin for other people opinions. sorry i gave him one. next time ill just bash polaris, and get the same response back

I'll chime in and say get the IQR.

Yes, ive owned one, i had a mod 800 and loved it. Wish i still had it around but i have a bad habit of building and then selling.

Does it really matter what he rides as long as hes happy> I say go for it, the chassis are sweet and can be made into anything you want or want it to do. Like chad said, there are a few around but ther is far less than there is revs, those are a dime a dozen. Get what you want buddy and let it rip.

i merely suggested that the IQR wasnt the best idea. i suggested keepin the yeti monster and modding it. but i was texting him and he said theyd be buying a sled anyway, so that eliminates my reason for arguement on not using the money to buy another sled. hes getting another anyway, so go for what he wants.

and the iqr is probly a perfect sled for you and a lot of people that ride em, but i also dont care for the tippy IQ... am i biased anbd bashing? no i dont like the M series or the XP chassi... apex and onem i do like. same with S chassi summits and edge rmks in powder, not a fan of the motors tho.

the IQRs look very impressive! sure, would like to try one out someday!:)

I heard that a stock IQR is not the best in powder. this true?

Quoted by AkHockey10: *that has a lot to do with the riders, not so much the sleds though*

If you read the post again Ak Nitro said that "most of the sleds in the x games final was an IQR, that should say something!"

I was saying that the riders skills are what got them into the finals. Yes, most of the sleds were IQRs but, that doesnt mean if someone rides an IQR that they'll make it into the finals! sure, the sled helped but, it doesnt grant anything that you'll make it in just because, you ride an IQR. Thats what i was getting at. :) dont get me wrong, the IQR is a sick sled!

You sound pretty picky to me but hey, we are all different.

Hockey 10, I was being sarcastic. To even be in the X games you have to be a skilled rider. It is just obivous that if the majority of these riders are choosing to ride the IQ chassis for competition over others, there must be something good about it.
