Pine Pass Snow Conditions?

yeah my aunt works a the big H in dawson and said two guys come in from sleding and had to get air lifted out
so yeah i hurd the same.

Brendon was operated on last night. His femur was broken in 2 places and the central section was split, so they couldn't put the titanium rod in place. They had to go the old route of plates and screws. He was supposed to be vertical today without putting weight on it. No cast due to the surgery cut. Unforgiving snow now, I'm done for the season unless I get called for more search and rescue stuff. Be safe and careful out there!!!! All the best to Brendon and everyone else that has been recently injured.

Rode Beaver Creek yesterday. Parking lot is mud, rough crossing at tracks, the first part of trail will be a luge by this weekend. Still lots of snow on the power line. Need scratchers for the trail up, its like a rock. 4-6" of fresh on top of cement like snow. Logged quite a few miles got to a few places I have never been, stayed away from most hills. Some big avys coming down every where. To bad for that young fellow, any mishaps or mistakes are catastrophic now. Hopefully he heals up quick.

Brendan's home

Brendan just got home about an hour ago, just got off the phone with him. He sounds OK, a little tired maybe. Tim said he's gotta be off the leg for 2 months. He's not gonna have much of a summer. He'll be ridin his bike sooner than that I'll bet and he'll be ready to rip next season. Get well buddy.

Bad start to the summer for Brendan, get better. Was thinking of heading up to Powder King on saturday is there still enough snow?

I went riding powder king on saturday it was all right. Plenty of snow 5' at the bottom but is cement. Can go anywhere but the downhills don't take long. Good to keep that in mind when climbing.

It was a good day up in Beaver creek. There wasnt a hill we didnt leave a mark on. Body and his Nytro takin a bath, Timberdragon doin a sick climb, the boyz posin for a group shot, a few hills that took us on as a challenge and my M9 threatening to conquer Powder King. Enjoy......
