Pine Pass Snow Conditions?

At the lower Beaver Creek parking lot, we plowed it so we could turn the trailers around at the far end... park along both sides and leave room at the end so the big rigs can turn around.
P.S. Ride hard and play safe and take out what you bring in...

PARKING IN THE PINE PASS...
What have we done about the issue?

We regularly reiterate our concerns to the Hwy's department.

We also were approached by a Dawson Creek business man with the offer of a D6 Cat for the winter months to maintain the parking lots. The club will fund the operation and volunteers will run the cat. Safety is the primary motive for implementing this initiative. The Cat was trucked to location and all areas have been plowed.

A generous donation that we all appreciate.

The parking lots across from Bijoux Falls, the overpass and Murray Range were all plowed as of Dec 13th.

What do we need from you?

Our club is a non-profit volunteer organization. And we need funds to truck and fuel the Cat for the winter. We are seeking donations to help support this program. There are no trail fees in our area. In lou we are seeking donations to support this initiative.

So if you ride the Pine Pass, we ask that you consider supporting this safety program. Our club members are always out maintaining the trails and now parking lots, say Hi as they do a great job, and feel free to talk further with them about this or any other issue.

If you would like to donate to the Pine Pass Parking Clearing Program, donations can be sent to:

there is talk that this cabin could be turned over to the snowmobile club to use and maintain that would be a pretty generous thing for the trapper who owns it to do (THESE SHELTERS SHOULD BE APPRECIATED AND TAKEN CARE OF OTHER WISE THE TRAPPER OR THE MINISTRY COULD HAVE IT REMOVED!!!! KEEP IT AND OUR AREAS CLEAN AND TAKE CARE OF THEM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

!!PACK YOUR GARBADGE HOME!!

silver sands

rode silver sands today very cold this morning on the trail but once the sun came out it was awsome. lots of willow still exposed but about 2 feet of fresh pow. creeks were a blast to shoot in and out of. water is frozen!!
trail in was the usual bumpy but thats how it goes.

You guys who stole the super clamps off of the white ford at the pk overpass parking lot, I know who you are...

Tell me why people have to pull that kind of sh1t? Let us all know who they are and we'll lynch em. Or maybe hold them down and pizz on them while a couple of guys strip their sleds for parts......

New to the area

Evening sledders. New to the area and looking for advise on the best area to go for the day. A buddy of mine are planning to be in the Pine Pass area on January 1st. He lives in PG and I am in Fort st. john. We are both experienced riders with mountain sleds. Love bangin hills and boon dockin. Would love it if somebody wanted to meet up and show us around or at least advise us on the best place to unload and tryout. So don't get to loaded on the 31st and come join us.

Cheers:beer;:beer;
Robert

how cold is it during the day in this area lately. we normally ride tumbler and kakwa but tumbler has been -25c and the forcast is the same for the next few days. we rode kakwa yesterday and it was only -10c at the cabin, -25c in the parking lot. i think kakwa gets the same weather as mcbride and their forcast is mild. i would like to check out my buddies cabin at silver sands but don't want to ride at -25c.

Went on the 27th. Was hoping to park at the callazon road but it wasn't plowed. There was aholes stuck all over in there taking up precious parking space. Also three stopped on the highway. If there is a cat plowing the lots, plowing it farther towards the river should be considered.

We'll Probably get that one for you guys next time we're moving the cat arround...

Awsome. I'd hate to see a highway tractor come around the corner and wipe out a bunch of trucks. Its always a cluster ***k there. Its awsome to have volunteers to help out the sledding community. If there was an accident I can almost guarantee it will be shut down.
