Thank goodness for technology. I just got to 121 and will give you an update from my blackberry. My dad and brother went out for just a few hours and said there is at least a foot of fresh snow. They only went in a few miles on the east west express trail. It will be an epic day tomorrow so enjoy work! Crash!!!

Bad things

This was forwarded to me by a friend. The story goes that they were following each other near p-ville recently and ....well the last photo tells the story. 1 rider with crushed vertebrae in his back, 1 rider with a broken femur, and 1 rider with 2 broken ankles. Anybody know more about this?

havent heard a thing about it..but that really sucks....hope all are healing and will be ok...

It was blue bird , last saturday when that happened , a friend of mine helped out , he said it was hard to tell it was a drop off until it was too late ,first rider went over , and then the next , and then the next , and then the next . 40 feet to the ice . Really sorry to hear about , get well soon guys .

Wow, those pic's tell a bad story I hope those guys heal up OK. That drop could have been much worse. I guess I wont complain about my day then...I only smoked a piston. For some reason blue bird sky's, fresh deep snow in the hills and WO allllll day = melted piston.

better than Christmas morning!

Holy sh@? I'm camping at 121 and was awoken by the kind folks that plow the parking lot. I'm thinking no need to plow......unless it snowed! And snow it did. Our official measurement is 9.5 inches. Were making breakfast and will be playing at sun up! Be safe today!

I want to ride tomorrow but no one from my group can go. Is anyone going that way that I could tag along with? I hear the snow is great. I drove through Turny today and they had some good fresh snow, but no one was there, weird. Tim.

The snow was amazing today. Only played about 3 hours until one machine broke. I'm now back in wasilla and it has been snowing the whole way. Terrible visibility today. But I was pushing snow like crazy, 3 ft of untouched snow if not more!
