was cruizing around henning on friday... snow is wind packed and little pockets of powder around, but not deep at all... where is this la nina?? we need some colder temps and some precip!
The information I have is that it was back behind 10K past the gravity bowl (roller coaster) over the ridge thru the trees and on the hill up to the wind blown flats. The far right of the hill.
If you know the area that should make sense
My condolences to the family. May he rest in peace
was up today, groomed 0k to 22k then up holm trail, other guys groomed henning all the way past spearing bowl, 4in fresh on pipeline, snowing above and trying to snow down low, bbq at the pipeline cabin sunday 12 till 2, enjoy!
I would also like to know what it was like. Instead of riding i watched the toll booth webcam all day... didnt look very nice, but im sure there was plenty of new snow
Rode 10k on saturday Jan 8th, visibility wasn't the greatest snowing pretty hard in the afternoon, I'm guessing they could have gotten another foot or so by Sunday. Wasn't as much snow up there as I thought there was going to be, maybe a foot or two of fresh in the areas we rode, must have gotten some rain up there during the week.
Was anyone up to the Coq today or going Friday. Just wondering how the temps were. Hoping it stays cool enough to snow and not rain. Anyone that was up Thurs or Friday it would be appreciated to here first hand..
Should be deep..... Hope we can see a little better than last weekend...
Thanks
