Just my luck. The first weekend i can get away, and the freakin pinapple express decides to push through! Dammit! I haven't even ridden my new sled (to me) yet!

Wow, well i should have brought a mask and snorkle today!!! man it rained all day. went as far as the peanut bowl, was gonna head to the sperling bowl but it was far to socked in.
Was tons of people up there but they bailed early. we got back to the parking lot around 4pm...
snow was like wet concrete.
didnt see it, but heard from some other people that the trail to avalance lake was hit by a little avy... in the "no stopping area" of the trail
HOWEVER.... nothing got broken, so it was better then sitting around at home watching football.

Was up on mon, to see a guy warming up in a truck because he spent the night on henning. He pulled a hill between spearing and peanut (didnt know of any hills there) got stuck and seperated from his buddies. They called 911 and the show was on. Lucky it was warm or it could have turned bad. It was on cbc news and should be a lesson to all Be Prepared His friends got towed out of peanut because they ran out of gas trying to find the lone sled, with the hope of finding the lost sled then fueling up the sled they doubled in on. Didnt find the lost sled with fuel so they got towed down by the groomer??????????
Need big stick at hut to remind people be prepared

Has anyone been up lately that could comment on conditions?
wiked day on the mountian. about a foot of fresh lushis powder with the cold temps it is light and like ghost dust. groomed trails all the way to 10k and henning to the super bowl. great day of riding and not much left over pow for you guys lol. have a good ride saturday

What was up with brandywine? Thought we had some fresh snow. Glad I didn't go hearing that!

Brandywine was socked in, can't see nothing when the cloulds are there and no trees to give you death perception.
