I think he ran since ruffmantle didn't show....man this thread took right off.

its not just unemployment, its the housing crisis, its our country's national debt, as a country we owe trillions of of dollars to other country's, China being the one biggest, every day we are in iraq we go deeper and deeper into debt by billions of dollars. Bush is absolutely the worst president that this country has had in recent memory and if mcain is elected these same problems will still occur for atleast the next 4 years.

Unemployment isn't the problem. It's that people can't get off the " ***" and go get a job its not that hard you just have to look. The Housing Problem? Maybe people shouldent buy a house outside or on the edge of there price budget. Maybe if ur such a freaking smarty you should have sent out a email to everyone to buy cheap get a 4 banger vote for obama. IF he ever gets the white house. atoms will split.

For one you think pulling out of iraq is the best way. Sure why not lets pull out and lets GET LABELED FOR BEING A COWARD NATION. Sure we play the world police and sometimes we get into stuff we shouldent but we are stuck in iraq if you like it or not.

As for Bush. Alot of you Dems don't like him. He's Not such a bad guy. There is a reason news is still around. They olny report the bad things about him. Never do you here He did this for these people. But when Oprah Buys a School for black people shes a hero. WTF?

And for Mc.Cain. He has alot of more time in The Seat then Obama Osama does. 22 years vs Almost Nothing. If you don't Like this country move to Cuba. And Re-Apply for the Serria Club. Ur Suck up membership is almost up.:beer;

Never a dull day

Why is it liberals scream Bush is a murderer! He's killed thousands!!!

Didnt Bush liberate 30 some million sorry souls from one of the worst tyrants in history? A trouble maker on the international scene and in his own country he once told his brother in law to mix vx nerve agent with mustard gas and lob it into village after village killing thousands....just to see what "it" would do? The Iraq story is far from over and will more than likely play an important role in bringing the mid- east into the 21st century. You know...civilization?

Where does m-7 dude get the idea that it's Bush's fault for fuel being so high?

Well now, I think that one of Oblama's puppetiers Nancy Pelosi could shed some light on this issue! Didnt Nancy turn the lights out in the house when the Republicans wanted to get an energy bill together? Didnt the repubs want to get busy drilling for new sources and were willing to compromise on alternative energy and fuel standards? Ol Nancy ran out on the house and wanted to get to her vacation while other members (both sides) were there hashing it out in the dark. WAY TO GO NANCY!!!! If she was my rep. I would demand she get her flat ars back in there and stop bleeding out whats left of the middle class.

Amazing, whenever I think of Nancy I want to break things.

I never said it was bush's fault for high gas. that's for many reasons. nm#1 big oil dosent want a different enegry source. it would take away from there profit of margin.

what do you say to the Texas Oil man(i space the name) who is HEAVILY invested in wind energy and is pushing the government to push for more wind(which he has sunk his money into and which the gov will subsidize to make it work) thus making a good profit for said oil man.

Liberalism is a mental disorder. These liberals, Esp. the ones from Washington Are nuts. They need medication. Maybe these guys need Change, Change. Charlie Manson said it. " The whole damn world is a garbage dump"

looks like i am dealing with a bunch of uptight conservative republicans on here who would like to continue going through what our country is experiencing right now, you know thousands of innocent peoples lives being lost in Iraq, our country's economy in the toilet... just small stuff like that.

We may have a Republican president but the House is controlled by Democrats. That right there is a key factor. You can blame the war on Bush, but you can't blame the economy on him. That started tanking when the Dems took over the House.

Obama doesn't know what the heck he is talking about and he certainly lacks experience. I'm not a McCain fan, we could have chosen a better Republican candidate. Just my 2 cents, I will read on.

How does Universal health care look?

Stark Revelation
August 23, 2008; Page A10

So government auditors have uncovered evidence of fraud in Medicare. Or rather, more fraud. The politicos lingering around Washington can barely keep a straight face as they claim to be shocked.

A draft report by the inspector general of Health and Human Services -- circulating on Capitol Hill and leaked this week -- determines that Medicare may have paid $2.8 billion in improper or fake claims for medical equipment in 2006. That's an error rate of 31.5%, in a single corner of this colossal entitlement. "This report doesn't surprise me," fumed Democrat Pete Stark.

Glad to hear the Congressman is catching on, given that dozens of studies have come to similar conclusions. But he aims his real outrage at the Bush Administration, which says it has stepped up its efforts to combat fraud and reined it in more than the inspector general alleges. "To look better to the public, you cook the books," Mr. Stark continued. "This agency is incompetent."

We're speechless. Mr. Stark and his ilk consistently claim that Medicare is a model for government-run "universal" health care because it spends less on overhead than the private sector. True, Medicare's administrative costs are just 3% of total spending, while the private sector hits 11% to 14%.

But insurance companies spend money to screen their claims for fraud. Medicare automatically pays more than 95% of the bills it receives. This lack of scrutiny reduces overhead, but it makes the program highly vulnerable to abuse. In June, a high-school dropout pleaded guilty to conning Medicare out of $105 million by submitting over 140,000 bogus claims before auditors noticed. It was the biggest health-care fraud in American history.

The real reason liberals like Mr. Stark are outraged is because they want to claim one of Medicare's vices as a virtue, to help along their health-care ambitions. The inspector general's report makes their argument poorer politically. It also shows that taxpayers will be literally poorer if Mr. Stark gets his way.

Get em' H2SNOW! The only difference between Obama and Osama is a little b.s. LOL Wade's numbers are right:beer; What did you expect MountainRiderM7, a majority of Obama supporters on a website full of individuals that like to enjoy using the land provided for us? Best of luck with our riding areas staying open if "he" tends shop. This is Snowest right?

RIGHT! Our riding areas will suffer if he is elected. It just isn't about riding either. Gun laws will be more stringent and our RIGHT will be slowly diminished.
The advocates that are against hunting will be given more leverage. We will start to lose ALL of the things that we enjoy.

Did you know that it will take over 200 tanker trucks filled with water to hose out all of the bullchit that was spewed all over Mile High Stadium last night?

and my second question is ....how long have you been <edited>???

yeah but you started it on a typicaly conservative website ....any questions "????

I could quote a dozen more posts on this thread. Why is it your first reaction to call people names???????? Can you not see we are going in the wrong direction.

There is no silver lining with the current administration. Bush's foreign policy is dismal. Like it or not we are in a global economy. We need to work well with other nations. Not just be bullies and impose our will on the rest of the world.

We, our country owes Trillions!!! with a TTTTTT. Trillions of dollars in national debt!!!. That debt was not there 8 years ago.

Are we really silly enough to think that there is ANY commonality between Obama and Osama?? Or is that an excuse for a deeper bias?? I wonder.

Even though this site is conservative, can't we open our eyes and see beyond our riding areas and hand guns. There are thousand, tens of thousands of jobs being lost. Our schools are tubing. Our image around the world has never been worse. We deserve better, dont you agree.

I would rather not get neg. rep on this, I am not that naive. So when you do, sign it. I cant stand it when I get chicken chit comments with no sig. Everything comes with a price. Be sure I will return all rep with simular, red or green.

So then, we should not vote for Bush. Got it.

Senator McCain voted in agreement with President Bush 90 to 95 % of the time.

Source?

I do not like McCain's politics very much, he votes too liberal for me, but I can not stand Obama's politics.

There will never be anyone in the Whitehouse conservative enough for me!

I do not believe that man is the cause of any warming trend. My carbon footprint is just fine. Thank you very much.

I believe in sound management of OUR public lands and not the lock it up and throw away the keys approach (i.e. Clinton's so-called Roadless Rule and new Wilderness designations). Neither McCain and Obama will be good in this area in my opinion, but I believe Obama will be much worse.

I beleive in strong private property rights without government interference (i.e. Endangered Species Act).

I believe in my right to own guns and carry a concealed carry permit.

I believe that Muslim extremists are out to kill all of us American's, Christian or not. The conservatives seem to understand this much better than the liberals.

I believe in drilling for more oil in ANWR and off our coasts. I am also am fine with other sources of energy too, especially nuclear.

I actually believe that McCain and Hillary voted very similar, but that is neither here nor there, as she is not running either.

And although off the subject, the last 7 years under Bush has not been all that bad for a good portion of American's.

I will be voting for the least of these two evils, and that will be McCain.

I'm not wanting to start a fight here. The Bush administration has PLENTY of faults and the country does need fixing. We do need a better image. But I truly believe that Obama is the wrong answer. McCain isn't much better. Unfortunately the USA does not have a decent choice for 2008.

Our schools are tanking but from what I've seen at my local school, the teachers are at fault, parents are at fault and kids these days are generally lazy.

The housing crash is the fault of the lending institutions. They have issued loans to millions of people that have have chosen something that is beyond their means. It was so easy to get a loan for a house 2 years ago, anybody with a job could get qualified.

Gas prices can be blamed on govt. but not the President himself. We should utilize America's oil fields and stop relying on foreign oil. That decision should not be left up to the special interest groups that revolve around the environmentalists.

Remember that the house is controlled by the Dems and they will literally squash any idea that a Republican President comes up with.
