As for the watch analogy...I know the watch was made by the watchmaker because I can visit his shop and see the watchmaker make the watch with my own eyes. You THINK you have a creator because that is what you BELIEVE (and I respect that, even if I dont believe it). The Earth has been in existance for billions of years...humans have existed for a million or more years...civilization has been around for about 15-20,000 years. There have been, and are, many religions. Dont you think its a little arrogant to think that yours is the ONLY true religion, just because you have a book written by people, interpreted and changed for 2000 years, to fit what King James wanted it to say? ....just food for thought.

I'm curious if you've ever studied the history of christianity? If you have an understanding of why christianity took hold when so many other equally popular religions of the time failed? (not mocking, just wondering if you have educated yourself, or are just blindly following the new testament, which is how you make it sound).

I respect your right to believe whatever you want...just dont preach it as fact.

Only watch this movies if you truley have an open mind! Dont judge me or this movie, these are more less documented events over time and put in a story line to open your mind. Then after the movie believe what ever you want to!!! They due have some good points!!!!

These are mostley documented events and not FACTS.......take it for what it is....

Like I said, I have no issue with a persons beliefs, and I fully respect them....until they try to pass them off as facts.

It's the nature of faith...you dont have to prove it, just believe it.

I went to a christian university and studied the old and new testiment in detail...it's very interesting to learn the origins of the religion and also the different interpretations throughout the ages to get us to where we are today.

There is a lot of arrogance in religion in general...we have a hard time not believing we are the center of the universe...and we have a hard time fathoming the vastness of the amount of time that passed before we showed up (whether you believe we evolved or were created). We have created so much importance in our little worlds that we dont stop to think how irrelevant we really are.

Heres my point: Of the 6 billion poeple alive on the earth today, in 100 years only a handful will be remembered. Name 10 people who were relevant in the year 1900 (I bet if you can name 10...most, if not all, will be americans).

Like I said, we are very arrogant about our own importance...which is the nature of religion.
