The system we have now is a joke. We just bounce from one party to the other and they are 2 sides of the same coin. They don't serve the country, they serve themselves.
The thing that makes Obama stand out is this.
He has greatly increased government control and is trying to take over all main building blocks of this nation. Mainly Banks.
He is proposing moving the "loans" to the banks into common stocks.
So what?
By doing that he has effectively taken control of the banks that either took or were forced to take Tarp money. That is why he has refused to let the banks pay the money back.
He is waiting for Palosi and Reid to hand him the take over of the medical industry with their latest bill being worked on right now. Here's a cute little twist. For all his promeses about bipartisonship, the dems are planning on using a prosedural move that would block any and all resistance from the republicans. Essentially they will do what they want and there is nothing anyone can say about it. Now the republicans have used this in the past, however NEVER on a piece of legislation that would affect the nation for ever.
Obama has raised the deficit more in his 100 days in office than every president in history COMBINED.
He is consolidating his and his parties control over this country.
This guy is scary and the media has forsaken their constitutional duty and sided with the socialist.

When Obama has gotten everything he thinks he can and done as much power grabbing as he thinks he can get away with, he will raise taxes across the board and blame it on the deficit. Oh yea, he will also blame the deficit on Bush.
