can we look forward to another noob vs pud round tonite? dam i hope im there when you to cross paths! it will be epic!!!!!

JBB, sure the hell hope not. trying to get the little deuches number and address so we can cross paths.;) getting a headache just thinking bout the little prick. dont' know what I keep posting after him, he obviously can't ride worth a shiz, the only thing he's half good at is typing, and even then he blows. Like I said before, you can kick the kid in the nuts, and he'll still deny he's getting his nackers kicked. he's just that stupid. its' useless talking to him.

The first couple vids were really lame. I always used to say the same thing, come follow me in the trees, well this year I actually saw a t apex in the trees a bit with me and I have to say I was impressed. I think you have to have some weight yourself to throw it around fairly easy. Does it handle like an xp, no but the more I rode it the more I liked it. I like the feel of the nitros better. More like the rev chasiss, which is what I like . I haven't rode one enough to judge if I handles better than an xp. TOYZ If your buddys old rev is beating the xp's he needs to set it up right. I have beat the hell out of my xp and have had no issues, besides some belts before I regeared and clutched. Next Year TOYZ i'll let you come follow me around in some trees on my pos xp. Of course you might have to leave that side of the freeway you like to ride. There is no real tree riding over there. I do like the nitros alot btw, I think I will have one next year.

OMG.. you can drive a groomer through those trees.

Can someone show me a vid of a nytro in trees tighter than 40 feet apart?:rolleyes:

LOL, you guys kill me...first PUD says show video of 50 feet apart...and this is clearly that...didja happen to notice that the trees went by kind of fast? care to guess the hill speed and track speed?

next it is 40 feet...then 30 feet? then 20 feet?

why is it so hard to believe a Nytro @ the weight of a Rev can carve in teh trees?

2 strokes for life!!!!

Wow..so much anger..
To set the record straight yes this sled is turbo charged.. running 12 # of boost that day..just 250 hp at that setting the doo 800 with some mods and a 180# rider vs 280# rider...do the math weight vs hp

I do own a xp (extra problem) there a great concept and when there all done being fixed they are a great stock sled..

# 1 the xp 800 is a mtn sled right so why do you allways go back to boondocking thru trees for comparison it is a mountain sled.if you ride thru trees buy a cross over sled.
#2 My nytro handles WAY better than MY xp boondocking thru tree,s etc. Dont belive it lets ride togeter.

#3 The xp are not any faster than the 06-07 rev 800 the guys I ride with beat the xp,s in our group all the time and yes there are alot of xp,s in our group abot half are xp,s..

#4 the reason for this vid was to set some guys straight that has told me there xp can hang with the t nytro in a climb even in the spring where you can go almost anywhere the xp still cant go where this sled does. You should see what this sled does when there is 3 feet of powder xp, 1000 cc cats bang the hill for an hour track poching and my first attempt I go right over in the fresh taking the hardest line..

Ohh we also did a 100% stock nytro race up a hill with the doo 800..that has some mods ps this guy on the 800 has an xp this sled walk,s allover his xp thats why he parked it... like I said before I have 100# on this rider and the nytro is not even broke in yet 80 miles and I have not even re geared it or anything at all except put reg unleaded in .. stock out of the box...listen to the 800 with pipes etc. next vid I will put a guy of equal weight on against a random xp owner..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1xqsr-ECcok

thats a pretty good comparison thats about where the nytro should be in hard pack.... im curious to no what the mods on the 800 was... haha what was it a mbrp can and elastics under the kill switch.....:D

Coming from someone who bleeds green......those Nytro's are good machines. My Bro has one, and besides clutching and a new track, that's all that is done to it (yet). I haven't seen one person highmark him (without poaching, or having a turbo), and we're lucky around here when we see any areas that aren't filled with trees. It's basically ALL tree riding, and the tight stuff.

And yes, we do have a friend we ride with that has a new XP with a 174" (he also has a M1000 with a 174" under it, and a RX1 with a supercharger and 174")....and yes, he is a good rider.

Rider ability has a LOT to do with what ANY sled can do. :beer;

Sorry.....no vid's....trees too tight to do any kind of filming.

Personally, I don't care what anyone rides. All that matters is if the sled owner is happy with their ride. :)

what's your phone number and address PUD. I'm on my way within the next couple weeks. I've got a tapex that's heavier then he!!, and a nytro that is almost as heavy. Both have rear mounts, the lag should make them even worse in your little tree world. If you have an excuse because they are boosted, I have a buddy with a brand new nytro that I will bring with me. If you make an excuse for that, I also have access to a stock apex as well. let me know.

haha yea id actually like to see a stock and turbo in the trees in deep snow right now its hard icy and hero snow...

hate to break it to you PUD, but my Nytro wil go WAY more places than my Rev....and no, it is not stock, but it is also NOT boosted (yet) but it is also lighter than my Rev was...

It is easier to hold a line, easier to boondock, easier to do powder donuts in, easier to sidehill...etc. etc. etc.

So, until you have ridden one for more time than it takes for the sales guy to hand you the brochure, you might not want to bash what you dont know, as it shows your ignorance...

first of all thats great you like your nytro.... i have been riding with numerous nytros this year and the people who own them say the same thing like the bottom end grunt but dont like the heavy steering and how it handles in the trees and they arent impressed with its stock climbing ability in deep snow but on the other hand probally 2/3 of them are going to light weight it and add a turbo and a track and they will climb with the best of em.... there is honest nytro riders on here who even admit it isnt as easy to ride in the trees any one can side hill a sled all day long but thats not where you get tired its the side to side all day long keeping momentum up a hill is where you will get a work out...

chicken shi! trash talkin no good waste of skin. the only thing your good at is making excuses. quit ***gin wastin my time.

ok, got two vids for you....first one is a Nytro in trees...and yes this one is boosted....

And here is a pic...where two weekends ago...and I know the arguments and debate before it even starts...My Nytro is stock under the hood...I have timbersled all around, and have dropped 70+ lbs. of weight...but it is undenialbe what happened on this hill for this day...

Here is the situation RT 1000 clutched and dialed (for lower elevation though) was only pulling around 7500 RPM's as reported by rider...

Nytro was only pulling about 8200 RPM's and track speed of only 45 mph avg...

So neither sled was at ideal RPM/HP

elevation:9000 ft.+/-

Here is the slope...

and another angle

Here is the video...

Personally, would not have believed it myself if I had not experienced it...and there was no poaching going on, at one point in the vid you can see me hit someones track underneath, and it throws me a little...but I can tell you that this was not staged...no funny business...I chalk up the climb (since i am not a big hill banger) to the new suspension...

There are only 5 tracks on this hill...three are mine...the one mark you see that I climb right up next to, was made less than 3 minutes before the one in the vid...There is a tremendous advantage in teh 4strokes in these long pulls as they dont get the heat soak as bad as the 2 smokers...I did 3 back to back pulls and no issue...

oh my is this what every one thinks is tree riding? i consider that a a up hill meadow those trees are 50 feet or more farther from each other.... wow now i really would like to get a helmet cam to show what my deffinition is..... and for the hillclimb vid unless the sleds are side by side going up thats the only way you can compare them really and for a doo to be that low on rpm not like a 4 stroke, they are way more peaky so it makes a huge difference being off on rpm that far out....

huh what are you talking bout? go back and read i never said 50 feet i was making fun of the 50 feet apart tree riding that they showed on the old forum....

chicken shi! trash talkin no good waste of skin. the only thing your good at is making excuses. quit ***gin wastin my time.

im scared of the big bad nytros there just way to cool and if you dont own one you are not considered a person..... no id like to see one in pow season go in the trees thats where the lighter 2 strokes have there advantage...

Hey there PUD, I see that you got your home work done and mommy let get on the computer for a little while. Why don't you pull your head out of you head and realize that know matter what you say you are just making yourself look like the idiot you are. I am a guy who bleeds green, and has for many years. But I'll tell you right now I took my blinders off last year after I got to ride a few snowhawks and boosted RX-ton. That was the fastest sled I have ever rode, I could barely hang on it was so fast. And I'll also tell you that I'm tired of riding a 2 stroke, I'm ready to make the jump to a cleaner, more reliable 4 stroke. A year ago I would have never ever considered a yammi, but after riding one, reading everything I could find on them, swallowing my pride, I am ready for a yammi 4 stroke. And for your information, I don't care how good you think you are in the trees a snowhawk will hand you your a$$ all day long. I know that is way off key here but I felt that since you think you are gods gift to side hilling and docking through the trees it was appropriate.

Now drink you milk and eat you cookies and get to bed.

mt! not going to bag on ya, but thats not tree riding! atleast not here. i dont know where you ride, butcome on over next fall and i'll take ya tree riding. like i've posted before, tree riding for me is more of a technical thing, always looking for the next gap big enough to fit throw.

PUD,

your rules change every 3 posts...So when you wanna hang with me or any other Nytro rider...saddle up cowboy...

you wanted video of Nytro in trees...still care to guess what the speed of that sled was in those trees? hint video was HIGHLY deceptive...

you also asked for some video in the trees...so I posted what I had...I dont run around looking for PUD approved sledding conditions...Personally, prefer deep powder over trees, but am not afraid to make use of my bark busters...

and calling me dishonest, for telling you that my Nytro rides better, carves better, and is easier to handle...well that there is not a wise move...dont really care what your friends have said...

johnny,

I dont care what PUD thinks...nor others..I dont do films (this was done by a buddy on a trip here in Kalispell..

believe me, I know tree riding...in teh Flathead valley, if you dont tree ride, you dont ride...

So prior to assuming that i am claiming this as "tree riding" or the ultimate tree riding, take it for what it is...a helmet cam of a buddy on his t-Nytro blasting up some hills on what we would consider a clear cut...but most of these keyboard jockeys like PUD dont have the skills to tell the difference...

any other Nytro folk notice no one discussing the RT1000 getting spanked by stock Nytro...two different videos...or maybe that went over PUD's head?

ive been riding with numerous nytros this year but apparently you no who i ride with and what i have been against and what i have seen.... how do i change every 3rd post tight trees is what i have been saying the hole time on here not wide open hill like that.... and once again i never said a turbo nytro doesnt go good hillclimbing. ive seen many turbo yamahas this year and im very impressed. other then the one guy had to let off twice so he didnt flip over with stock suspension on a long steep hill... lol
