That is impressive designing....usually the factor of safety most engineers use is 2.5. 76?? Problem solved!!! :)

rumor has it the guys that had the first three kits on, were sportin' PERMA-grin!!! had to stop for the night as it was too dark to sled with this kit....or have to install headlights on bottom of sled cuz of the wheelies!!!!

Iam soooo stoked to get mine installed...LOVE the mind set, LOVE the design improvements...

was neat to tour their shop, two water jets, their own in house ceramic coating and industrial powder coating...

He is stepping up to help with the past kits...etc.

would HIGHLY suggest you get your orders in soon!!!!

I am gonna try and get my sled over to the Cooke City shootout races and see how it fairs...January 2...

Mine is with the UPS man as I type expecting delivery tomorrow evening. I can't wait either. Just have to finish out the clutching issues. Hope to pics of my install during the holidays.

how do you contact NW?

More teaser picks when you can please. I'm getting stoked just looking at that header. Last years metal fab work left something to be desired. Header and all the exhaust plumbing from pictures, cutting and plastic welding a already small fuel tank just didnt have my interest.
But NOW!!!! NW turbo you got my attention. Really like all the upgrades and improvments and good job at keeping price down. For me $4500 is doable, but when the price starts climbing to $5500 or now up to $6500 for some kits, I gotta fold. I'm out. I'm just not the big player with $25,000 plus invested on the hill. Hope to be boosted with NW turbo sometine in the future :D Good thread guys, thanks.

xmas present

Look what arrived yesterday!! Sorry for the crappy cell phone photos. Better ones soon.

New NW turbo kit. Ceramic coated exhaust manifold, downpipe and turbo. Trail tank. Under tunnel yoshi exhaust (I made this one myself from a honda road bike). Intake under the panels on top of the clutch. Already purchased a BR tech vent kit to breath better.

Planning to install tomorrow am. Will post some pics and let you know how it goes. There is now more than hope for my trip next weekend to Togowotee!

Edit; Are you running M series rails?

Rene

are you referring to me? if so, no, those are Ice Age Rails...made specifically for the TImbersled suspension...

and oh yeah...we ahve two more feet to play in since my sled carnage 2 days ago...and it is hammering down right now!!!

fuel controller, is Dobeck box...once again goal is SIMPLE, and reliable!!! it also does not hurt for NW turbos that Dobeck is a stones throw from their offices...

Here's the installed turbo. It went really well. Travis at NW turbos was awesome. He sat by the phone and talked me through the entire installation. The kit is very well done. Fantanstic fit and finish. Very well thought out to make the install smooth. Took about 6 solid hours for a newbie. A guy with experience could do it in 4 hours.

The details are what make this kit so great. The shield he made to block off the open header outlets, ceramic coated turbo, down pipe, and exhaust manifold, the turbo heat shield is annodized, the fuel controller just plugs into the existing wiring, oil and coolant like are added to existing lines, No cutting of anything, no welding, and no drilling are what make this kit so appealing.

Still have to do the clutching, under tunnel exhaust, and bleed the coolant (which is now done without a mighty vac with the supplied bleeder valve). Then replace all the housing, gas tank, and go ride.

Will let you know how it goes.
