Ummm... I'm startin' to worry 'boutcha Jer...

Wreck just WAITIN' to happen...:face-icon-small-sad

yeah right...but it was fun!!! incredible how it just keeps ulling and pulling and pulling...with a mid mount the interesting thing to me, is that you dont get the spool up and slam 10 lbs. of boost...you get a much nicer linear pull...as to lag, none noticeable...it is really nice...

need to dial the clutching a little more...

am running 10.3 rivet in heel (inner) 17.2 in mid and toe (outer) and that seems good, have the arctic cat yellow secondary in (shoudl have tried teh stock yellow silver yellow first) and have it at 70 degrees...I am gonna take it to 90, and I think I will be there...

was getting lots of clutch dust at 60 and 70 degrees...but every cahnge in the secondary and it pulled harder and harder...so I am liking it a LOT!!!!!

most all the pics have been posted already...any that you want? or your looking action stuff?

the day we were out, there was no light, was too flat and blowing incredibly hard, so no video...could take some in my yard...over 2 feet new in last 24 hours here in NW montana...

will getcha some, would have been killer today, but front end damage prevents me from riding hard today...gonna toodle around the yard a little and down to the horses...but that is about it...

Yer not a sh!tn, we went up the lodge over new years and rode. These things with only 10 pounds are nuts, It took me for one heck of a ride up the mountain. In fact my wife seen me get thrown off and freaked, it did scare the heck out of me also, sucked my leg up into the track, slammed my head into the snow. Wow!!!!!!! Needless to say I think its to much for me. If I keep it I am either going to get a divorce or killed, just not sure which on will come first. But needless to say my nytro runs like a raped ape with this kit. Good job Travis. By the way its for sale in the classifieds...

Ugh, you boosted yammy guys make me sick;). I think my next sled is gonna be one of the NW boosted Nytros. Sounds like Travis has done his homework to get these things running reliable and consistent. Very slick setup IMO. I'm just wondering if the air intake above the primary is going to suck a lot of hot air or is there a vent right there for it?

Either way, once my truck is paid off, boost here I come:D.

ok duramax, went out and got a quickie clip...not the greatest, but you get the idea...it is in my yard...and hte old abandoned trailer gets in teh way of doing it for longer...and well it was cold out...

oh yeah, and this is with clutching barely tuned in...still missing out on the top end only hitting roughly 8000 RPM's...

thanks

thank you mtdream would like to see more but i thank you for what you did :beer;

looks good and what i want now this dollar thing even out and im all over it

i will let you play with it so we know what to do for clutching :D

it is horrible quality but trying to get you some level expectation, as you WONT be disappointed...

I know you wanted wheelies, but my goal is no wheelies..I want skiis planted...so, this might be the last wheelie you see from my sled...installing the bushings on the timbersled, to keep the skiis planted!! dont want too much pressure as I still want to boondock and dont want nosediving in the pow...so will be a constant struggle :)

Looks good MTdream.

You sure don't have to work these TNytros hard to get moving quickly.

When I was in McBride a few weeks ago I was out riding Lucille. There was a few climbs where I scared myself and thought I wasn't going to make it. So I stabbed the throttle in a panic and the sled just pulled hard and fast like I was back on flat land. These boosted 4's are unreal. That was at 12lbs.

By the way, what exhaust is on there? I'm straight piped but it's much too loud.

mine is straight pipe now...getting muffler installed before riding this weekend...I highly prefer the stealth sound...prefer to sneek up on folks :)

just ordered a-arms from timbersled, so sled will be on the snow this weekend...cannot wait!!!

nw turbo...

Hey guys just read the whole forum on the nw turbo... I am 1 of those guys that travis came to lewistown to meet... Install was great did 2 1/2 sleds in a day and a half... Since the install 3 weeks ago i have 350 miles on my sled already.... What is everyone getting from mpg, or should i say how many miles are you guys going on a tank of fuel? And just curious has anyone taken their tanks off and check to see if all the bolts are tight on the w/g, manifold, and turbo? Just curious and this turbo is a great bold on and ride kit.. imput is great, let me know...

I talked to Allen at Timbersled and he told me to run a 1/2 inch shim on the rear and suck up the limiter strap to the sixth hole. I am going to do this this week, I went riding last weekend with no shims and the limiter strap loose. Wow It wheelied all the way up the hill, almost to much for the deep stuff.

I'm in togwotee testing the sled. Seems to be running really well. With the 47 apex helix and 10.3 heel and 17.2 mid and toe was too much weight for the stock springs. I could not pull over 7500 to 7600 rpmsm
I am not a believer in using the secondary spring to gain rpms. Instead I ground the mid and toe weights down 3 grams and gained about a thousand rpms to 8400. Tomorrow I am going to the cat yellow secondary at 70 degrees to see If I can pull closer to 8900 to 9k.

I will post some results tomorrow.

Otis

Out again today and yellow arctic cat spring at 70 was too much. Went back to stock secondary at 90 and shaved another 1 gram off rivets. It pulled to 8900 rpms. I think I have it nailed down. Will post after tomorrows ride.
