Disable the wastegate (pinch off airline) and see what kind of boost you get. Leak testing the whole system may pinpoint the problem as well.

It might be the boost controller, I took it off tonight and blew threw it and noticed it leaks where the rubber O ring is. I then removed the boost controller and hooked the two lines together, I will see what it does the next time I go riding.

Interesting.......no more cracked headers, exhaust leaks???

yeah, kind of boring huh!!!!

dont know of many other kits that are going to this extreme to ensure reliability...Travis is doing a KILLER job focusing on reliability and shoring up the normal problems of turbo kits...

First kit on planet Earth to go cast, as far as I know. Would solve the #1 problem with "front mounts"......cracking headers. This could be the beginning of something good.

Yep I agree I was on cloud 9 when he told me that plus he cermic coats it as well. Let me know how your ride went MTDream I can't make it maybe next weekend.

LOSER!!!! just punt the other crap and come ride with us...cast and coated makes for NICE reliability!!!

for the last year kits, he will offer the parts as part of an upgrade kit too...so, those who want it, can get it...

like I said, he is REALLY trying to make this a killer thing for past and future customers!!!

and clearly doing things to this level will set the kit up for bigger boost, but the focal point is reliability reliability reliability!!!

come on justin, drop what your doing, hell i am comming out from michigan to ride. you gotta come poke fun at the flatlanders in the steep n deep. even if they are customers. LOL!

i can see it now, MT is gonna let me hit the crack pipe then i am gonna have to be a boost addict as well. man he has cost me more money lately. LOL! ski

I have been waiting for my new kit to arrive. I hope the install is easy as they say. Anyone with experience want to comment on how long and difficult installation was? I am expecting the kit early next week and am leaving Jan 2nd and need it running.

Travis also mentioned 2 different clutching options using the stock weights and an apex helix or stock helix and different weights. Anyone with experience this setup?

Travis and I will be making a video for the installation...so that it will be SUPER easy!!!

I watched on get installed last year, and it was a four hour job...not a big deal...after the video and pics etc. it will be SUPER SUPER simple!!!

and yes, we will be testing the two different clutching scenarios out...the stock with rivets and helix is the recommendation from the top turbo guru...and the other is from a kit that a guy had last year...

most boost guys are buying the shockwave helix...but setting it to 47 degrees, and leaving it there...so, since that is the case, why not just go with the Apex (47 degree helix) and be fine....key benefit here....most dealers have take off stock apex helixes sitting around, and will sell them to you CHEAP!!! I got mine for $20...

So, lets see, $20 or $200 for a shockwave? easy cheesy decision for me!!!

talked to Travis this evening and manifolds are shipped, and they arrive in a day or two, and will be machined and ceramic coated, then kits will be shipping shortly...he has 10 clear tanks in transit right now, and 10 black tanks coming by early week next week or late this week, I cannot remember...

I spoke to Travis this evening too and he said kits will be ready to ship by the end of next week. He is trying to get a good set of instructions set, but should be a really easy install. $4500 for a trail tank, ceramic coated cast iron exhaust manifold, undertunnel exhaust, concealed intake, and midmount turbo. Everything a guy could want for a stealth turbo install to make other guys wonder.

My sled is apart and waiting parts. Leaving for Togwotee Jan 2nd and pumped to be juiced.

This Looks to be an awesome kit for low boost reliable horsepower. but where did you get that price? I got a quote back from him at $5500. When i saw that i figured i would wait and save the extra $1000 for an impulse but if it is $2000 cheaper than an impulse that is a killer system and i would definatly be getting one of those.

Sorry that may have been the early season price for those of us who ordered it a few months ago. Sorry I can't speak for what he is now charging just what I paid for an early order. Good luck with which ever one you choose. I like this kit because I did not like sitting on the gas tank or looking at the snorkel on my dash. If I want big horsepower some day he does have other garrett options. I wanted the stealth/stock look.

Anyone that has a picture of the new header?;)

got pics of the new cast manifold...it is just a pre- machining, and pre-machining, and pre- ceramic coating....

machining is being done today, and ceramic coating tomorrow....
