New Motor Fist Gear...AWESOME!!!

I talked to a guy named Brad Ball at Puyallup.........

Brad from Motorfist, told me he used to be with Klim back in the day. I have a pair of Klim bibs that are the best thing I ever bought. They were made in Rigby ID., and the guy measured me to make a custom size. Now Klim is made overseas, as is Motorfist. I recently bought all new Klim bibs and jacket, they are not what they used to be! Brad told me he could make a custom size, but it will cost extra. Klim said nope! When you are sized like me custom is priceless! When the Klim gear I bought recently starts to wear, I will be looking to Motorfist for sure. Good to see some good stuff available! -00's

oh man! i wish i would have knowen they made custom. i looked at there gear with great interest, but went to Klim since they were more fat guy friendley in sizing. all the horror stories about Klims warranty ive heard on many threads is a little concering. i like HMK the most but same stories on sizing.

Klim boots don't leak

the company has 2 products. throw in a couple of upset klim customers and all of a sudden klim is no good and a product that nobody has even heard of until now is the second coming.

I have run klim for almost 5 years now. no problems, good warranty. I am on my third season on my tog gloves with about 10 rides per year. they work just fine. and even still, riders are hard on gloves, who knows what the issues are. all you hear are glove complaints, not much for jacket boots or bibs. So base your entire opinion on a company that refuses to warranty a 50 dollar pair of gloves you may have worn 1 time or 100 times. how do they know.

you like the new stuff? great, but dont claim a brand new product as a replacement for something that has been supported by our community for so long. trying it on in your garage and claiming "the best fit ever, cant wait for the snow..." ya right.

just another example of going way too far to one side when somebody's mommy makes you go to bed without supper. you get a couple of disgruntled people talking about an issue they are having and then get some bandwagoner on another product to swoop in and claim it as the second coming of the snow god. unreal...

tree riders

i checked out the MF at the snowshow and it is made of the toughest material I have seen on snomo gear, seems like it would be much harder to tear on a tree branch than any others on the market....my klim stuff is completely shredded from my own doing and I'm always wet....it's good but i have never had a day where i stayed at all dry, perhaps it doesn't allow sweat to evaporate out of the garment which makes you just as wet as water penetrating from the outside...anyway the MF is some tough stuff, if you havn't seen the gear and your planning on ordering some I think you will be pleased

The patent on Gore-tex has expired. It is a good product, that is overpriced. I want to wear something other than Klim, because every other acehole on the hill has klim!! I like what I am seeing with the Motofist, and and going to try it out. IMO, I could give 2 shiats about waterproof, it's the breathability that I am concearned about....and I feel that the newer products; e-vent, and Motorfist, are superior to gore in that department!

Thanks for pointing out that everyone on the mountain including me are aceholes for the clothing we wear. I would have never realized I was an acehole without you!!:rolleyes:

Is MotorFist guaranteed dry? Nothing on their website mentions anything about staying dry...
Getting wet can ruin my day in a big hurry. When you are dry, it is much easier to stay warm.

did you look at their website?

hahaha wow:face-icon-small-blu missed that one

I was looking in the old fashioned straight talkin’ section of the warranty
will they give me my money back or send a new piece if I get wet.

well I wish them luck. :beer;

I don't like their advertising much, its just like tobe did when they ran all those "yuppy wear" adds. If the product is so awesome it should be able to stand on its own.

First deep powder ride today wearing my Motorfist jacket.

Didn't get wet.
Didn't get cold.
Seemed to breath better than my Klim Powercross pullover.
Would I buy again? YES

Im 6'3" and got the XL MF Bibs. They fit great. They are long enough. They are dry.. They are tough.. They are just as good as KLIM. I Have no complaints about my new MOTORFIST gear.

Keep up the good work guys.:beer;

My buddy had the new jacket and pant in canada last week. Warm, comfortable, and dry. You can't ask for anything more. Nice work Motorfist!:beer;

For those that are interested:

This is in no way a Klim vs Motorfist post. Just informative information for the consumer.

Brad Ball is the owner of Motorfist and Rexburg Motorsports.
Josh Skinner, formerly of ToBe and Alticity films is now with Motorfist.

I know both of them personally and they are stand up guys, who have done many wonderful things for the snowmobile community. Funny dudes too :D I know Josh strives to be top notch in customer service and I am sure anyone who deals with him will tell ya the same thing.

As a consumer I have to say I am excited about the prospects of more clothing options. It will drive prices down and quality up. Its good for the industry. Snowmobiling gear sucks for styles, but for quality and functionlity it owns the ski industry... (do you know how much gore-tex ski gear is? $$$$)

I will also mention that I super happy with my Klim gear and all the support Klim has given me over the years. I find it to be a great product and their customer service to be great as well. I will continue rock my Klim gear and encourage all to try it out. I also wish Brad and Josh the best in their endevors.
