New Cat, about f-ing time!!

What's with the extra headlight on the left? That a built in trail signal light for first/last sled? About time the rear bumper is raised up. Tunnel looks very short.

I might be jumping ship from Polaris, if this chassis looks like a winner. Cat's engine, besides the intake, is superior, and the PowerClaw track is amazing. Current chassis sucks, though. Glad to see an improvement soon!

what i read also only talks about two strokes so hopefully a lighter narrower chassis designed only for 2 stroke

If they are unveiling at hay days that makes me think there will be a mid-year spring release in limited numbers. Curious on which one of the powerplant options they were developing they will be leading with.
I hope they do an early release to get them on the snow this next season, get a chance to work the bugs before I order one

Can’t see real well, but looks like they may have gotten rid of the tall spindle. You can see the top of the spindle and the upper a-arm and where the shock comes down at an angle.

More marketing means Textron has some faith that Cat will turn a profit. Considering the parts shortages, I'd be pretty happy with a skeleton line-up heading out the door this fall and ramping back up for the 2024 model year when parts are (hopefully) more readily available.

New chassis for the SX and RXC sleds for Haydays.
Mid-Season Turbo release for the Mountains.
2024 Snowcheck will see the platform across all segments with 2025 having all models in the new platform.

2012-2023 for the PC is a good run. The past few years of refinement with the Ascender made it great. The Mtn Cat was no slouch either.
2011-2023 for the Polaris Pro. If it aint broke, don't fix it. Matryx and Axys are identical under the skin. Axys is 1.5" taller than the Pro, steering structure is the only change other than plastics/spindles/skid location.
2008-2023 For Doo. XP and XM were identical chassis with small refinements. G4 and G5 are the same chassis, just an upgrade on plastics and small refinements. Crazy that XM plastics can fit on the original Rev with minimal fitment issues.

Everyone does it. Now I just hope Cat changes direction with their names. Khaos and Riot are both synonyms of Revolution. Lets break that mold and stop trying to re-invent the Rev. Let's do our own thing!

So, new chassis but not new motor?
New engine is finally in a chassis as of last week or so. It's still a prototype and all billet. the turbo version of the 800 c-tec will be a mid-season release in the new mtn chassis hopefully.

I'm really interested in a new 600 engine. My kids 650 Polaris was an animal last year compared to her 600 SBA. And that sled was so damn quick with a 146. I want a HC 146 600-ish class Alpha so we can ride similar equipment. I'm chasing Venoms, Blasts, and mod 120's nowadays more than ever. The old TCat wants a rest from all those mid-range trail days.

There were different engine configurations being tested long before last week, maybe just in the current chassis though.

Don't be suprised if it gets some ergo cues and short snub nose from a Ski-Doo. I heard dimensions were quite close.......

I must ask Reeb how do you know so much about the new Cat? Just curious is all
